Sturdy, strong, comfortable seat
In my opinion this seat may not be for everyone, certainly not for those with refined interior decorating etc. However if you have back problems, like pelvis tilt, sciatica nerve pain and truly need some releif from the discomfort of sitting on a toliet then you want to try this. I highly recommend it because I found it made a dramatic improvement for me. Thinking about a buying a second one to store as a backup. I weigh 250 lbs. and it holds me without strain, very sturdy. The pads under it that contact the china are robust and wide yet soft. In car terms this is no vega, more like Super Duty truck. Oh yes, very easy to put on. Read the brief instructions or you might get confused. The instructions show how simple it is.

Comfy! A bit pricey, but if it holds up, I'd buy it again.
Very comfortable if, like me, you have back or sciatic problems with thigh pain. Easy to install. Easy to clean. Have had seat for 3+ months. It would likely take 1-2 years to really know if everything holds up as it does at first. Quite sturdy. Was a bit pricey but worth it, so far.

The best one...
Okay, so I should start by saying I've had worsening sciatica in both hips since I was twelve years old, due to a mild case of spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. Just to clear up that having CP doesn't necessarily mean you may always have seizures, difficulty speaking and constantly drooling. I don't have any of those issues with my condition. What I have is simply some very stiff Achilles tendons and my left hand is pretty much worthless. Thereby causing my back, particularly my pelvis and hips to be in constant pain to some degree everyday. And yes, when you have this condition that doesn't make you exempt from the bare necessities of life. Hence, again, when I was twelve years old, was when I really started to notice the sciatica, to the point where my physical therapist at the time suggested I get a padded toilet seat....um I was a twelve-year-old boy and that wasn't going to be happening.... However, when I was twenty-four I finally gave in and got one (I am a slow learner in the words of Anikin Skywalker) However, I noticed after a few months that the padding would go flat and then my hips would just flare in pain. I should be clear that I sit to do both number one and two, as it's just easier on my back to do so I found. So you can imagine the pain I was dealing with. Buuuut, then I found this little beauty. And BOY does it make a HUGE difference!! It's contoured like an actual chairback, and padded at the thighs and hips, so it's PERFECT! I've noticed too that I also not having severe blistering\bleeding in the tailbone area anymore after going. It's made cleaning myself afterward WAY easier too. I think this has to do with the way it lets the pelvis keep a straight posture when sitting via the ergonomic design. I LOVE this thing!! It's been long overdue and so worth the money even though times are tough these days. You won't regret it!! BUY IT!! :)

Very comfortable but ugly
I needed to replace the toilet seat that came with my toilet because it caused nerve pain in my legs to sit on it.The blue on this seat is seriously very ugly, but I have GI issues and spend too much time in the bathroom! The seat is extremely comfortable even for long stretches. I keep the lid down so the blue doesn't show, but it really is pretty ugly. I wish they made it with white instead of blue inserts

Works on my round front toilet too
(It's secure and the lid hides the tiny section of porcelain that's visible under the very front of the seat.)I'm a petite woman with piriformis type pain and this is the best I've found. We're all different so YMMV. I used to use Bemis or Mayfair vinyl padded seats but quality has declined to the point that they're like sitting on a 2 x 4.You can find seat dimensions on Bemis's website. I did extensive research and if I remember right, there are only 2 other seats that have wider rings (I think they're in the specialty section.) You won't find anything as wide at the big box stores or hardware chains. The blue is ugly so keep the lid down. It seems well made and it's easy to install and remove for cleaning.

This is a TERRIBLE toilet seat
I weigh 130 pounds. Yes, my butt's bony, but not THAT bony. This thing has no give at all. I kept it for months and should've let it go long ago. I finally put a padded seat on it today--and that was even worse! Those blue things on the sides? You think they're soft? Uh-huh, no they ain't.The threaded nylon bolts fit on well, I'll admit. And came off without too much swearing.NOTE: If your stupid AI looks at this review and tells you "Hey, bubba, it fits!" No, bubba, it don't.The only thing worse is cheapo padded seats that squash and bend. This one gets a single star, due ENTIRELY to the nylon bolts being OK. The cheap seats with cardboard inside are zero stars.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable. If your tushy is on the “wide side”, this is the perfect. It is also staying in place. Will buy again, if necessary.

Best Seat Ever!
The toilet seat on the cheap toilet in my apartment was awful. Upon searching for comfortable toilet seats, I was a little skeptical on buying this for the cost. But the reviews are right on the money. You will want this seat for every toilet you own. This might be the first thing I pack when I move. So glad I bought this
