I was using another phosphorus binder, and when I added PhosFix, the results were magnified. My little Bella is making a steady recovery from kidney failure and it's so great to have her back. I intend to switch entirely to this product because the other binder is so darn expensive, must be terribly overpriced. Thanks for this great product. My dog wags her tail to you, too!

I've tried this product in every food that he eats. I've even tried giving it to him in his beloved Puree brand treats, but he won't come close to it. He can sense it even when I add just a few grains. I took each capsule and put just a very small dusting of its contents into his food, and still he will not go near it. I don't know what it is about the smell, but he senses it and will not touch it. I hope this is not the trouble I'm going to face with every product I try for this cat. He's a good cat, and he eats well but not when this product is sprinkled on it and mixed into it. I can do nothing to get him to eat it. Do you have any other product for a cat with a good nose and taste buds?

I'm on dialysis and I take a phosphorus binder so I thought my 15 year old cat with kidneys failing should also hsve one, i know my chemisty, so this seems like something my cat should use. She doesn't eat it so...

I have been using this on my 14 year old Lab for ore than a year. So far her blood results have been stable and that a good thing. Use this with a combination of low phosphate diet to help maintain kidney function.

My dog's blood work improved after adding this to his food. I also like that it doesn't contain aluminum (the most popular brand has some comments that concerned me about possible aluminum toxicity with long term use). It's also inexpensive and the dosing is very convenient. I open a capsule and mix it into kibble or a can of wet food. I picked up a second kind of phosphorus binder at the same time as this one in case he found it unpalatable, but I was shocked to discover that the dosage rate was 1g per 10 lbs, meaning a 60g bottle would only last 5 days at 2 meals a day for a 60 lb dog. Fortunately he doesn't seem to be put off by the taste of this one.

Made my cat deathly ill, she threw it up. It didn't mix well in her canned food w/lots of water, it floated on top instead of mixing w/water. Made my cat so sick for 3days. I threw it out & went back to the Rx Vitamins PhosBind, it mixed well & desolved well in2 her food. She's had wonderful improvements & is stable. Today is her 14th BD & doing good now that she's off this crap.

So far so good. It's only been a few days but the cats are eating it so hopefully they will feel friskier soon!

I personally think this is a great product! I was a bit hesitant to try it out because my cat is literally my best friend and I was just nervous to give her anything but I wanted her to be back to her ole obnoxious self. However, my concerns were pretty much alleviated when I read the packaging. I love that all of the ingredients are clearly stated on the label and that this supplement was manufactured at a FDA registered facility. I also love that I am able to sprinkle it over my cat's food and she doesn't even realize it. win-win.
