Solid, sturdy, great for practice
Great plastic covered reeds The sound that they produce is slightly inferior compared to a normal cane reed, they sound more harsh and brassy, so obviously you will not be using them in performances. However, the upside to this is that they are very sturdy and much more durable compared to the soft normal bamboo ones, can be used in long sessions and if you want to practice in long sessions on your sax (and you do, since all good players do this) this is a must have. I have been using these for a while with one reed working well multiple months! They are also a bit easier to get a sound out of compared to traditional reed, so if you are just starting or practicing: These are really great

Used for 20 years and counting.
Arrived promptly. I've used these reeds for over 20 years now. Always consistent and never a bad one. The plastic coating incredibly thin and keeps your reeds for longer. I love the sound too. I play with a DG king Curtis silver mouthpiece and get a great crisp Jazz soul sound like King Curtis, junior walker etc.

High quality, consistent in strength/tone, good value for money
Recommended by my pro tutor, these reads are great, extremely consistent and appear to last longer than the Vandoren natural cane reads I was using.

Brilliant so far!
My first try with plasticover reeds and so far I am really happy, reed out the box and immediately playing well. More comfortable on my bottom lip as well which is a bonus. Will certainly be buying again!

Reliable plastic coated reeds
Not cheap but very reliable as a result of the plastic coating. I really like them.

value for money
Would recommend reeds as being good quality and value. Last a lot longer than normal reeds even considering the price difference. Also good for beginners.

... Reeds all the time as they give me a good sound, last much longer and are much more ...
I now use these tennis saxophone Reeds all the time as they give me a good sound, last much longer and are much more reliable than Kane reeds.

I play Bari, Tenor, alto and soprano saxes plus clarinet, and as a doubler all of these instruments need to be ready to blow. I’ve been using plasticovers for over eight years on all my horns and have been amazed at the consistency and ease of play. They have a good, slightly bright sound, which I actually like but it’s easy to control. They are very durable, but when they finally do go, it’s instantaneous! So I always keep some spares because I can’t get even a squawk out of a bad one!
