Comfort Cloud OPDX Coccyx Cushion Hybrid Gel, Breathable Mesh, Memory Foam Non-Slip Bottom Seat Cushion with Cover

Bought this cushion due to discomfort of sitting for long periods of time. I use this on my sofa when watching TV in the evening. It does add a layer of comfort between me and the sofa cushions. I have also used it on my desk chair and there is a really big difference there. Even fully compressed when your sitting on it there is still a softness there especially when used on an office/or other hard surface. This would be great for use on a bleachers at the kids sports games. Very nice well made product. The memory foam keeps this cushion looking like new, just keeps popping back onto shape. Has a little bit of weight to it. Does not feel cheaply made and has all the added details like non-slip bottom. The bonus cover is a very soft plush fabric and also has the non-slip bottom.

Have had lower back surgery with metal rods & screws in my back. When I say I suffer from back pain this is an understatement. I am constantly searching for products to make my life a little less pain filled. My work entails sitting at a computer all day long every day. Sitting in one position causes stress on my lower back which causes more pain. When I saw this product I knew that I wanted to try this. My Doctor has one much like this that he recommends but I just could never justify the cost of the one he has. I was excited to have found this and more than willing to give it a try. I have been using this cushion for several days for at least 5 + hours at a time. The cushion is firm yet soft. When you sit down on it your weight sinks into the spots where you put the most weight and distributes it evenly. It postures you so that your spine is in line and not slumping. The raised portion on the back of the cushion is where your tail bone sits. Pressure on the tail bone causes so many problems that you aren't aware of until it's too late but I have not had that pain since I started using this cushion. The cushion comes with the black removable cover for easy laundering. The cushion is high quality & solid. Should last a long while. If you sit for long hours at a time I would give this cushion a try. I know that I am very glad that I did!

When I read the reviews, somebody mentioned piriformis muscle syndrome and said this cushion helped. I have severe pain in my piriformis muscle and tried this pad. It didn't help at all. I think it's perfect for other rear end problems. gave it to my elderly mother-in-law.

One of the problems have with my ALS is that I have lost so much muscle mass that I don't have much of a posterior anymore. I am still ambulatory so I'm not confined to a wheelchair yet so I still sit in regular furniture. However sitting all day without any cushion caused a rather nasty callous to form on my tailbone. This pillow helped that callus go away as well as providing me with great comfort. I've been using this for several months and do not sit without it. Is very comfortable and very well made.

I used this cushion for a while then re-read reviews and was surprised to read inner cushion on many were moldy. So I unzipped mine and discovered that sure enough it was full of mold. Very disappointing as it provided comfort. Ended up throwing it out.

Many of these cushions are promoted for multiple situations, but a bench seat is different from a bucket seat and from an office chair. Regardless of how this cushion feels or fits into a seat, it's too small and too thick for me. Without tapering in the front it adds even more pressure to the back of my legs, and for me it's not wide enough. I was looking for something to compensate for the uncomfortable edges around the bucket seats of my Prius, so that I can sit better, plus get in and out without falling off the cushion. Maybe it's good for a hard chair that you don't slide across but can "aim" for the cushion properly.

It is a great cushion, it does a perfect job of taking away the pressure on the coccyx, feels very comfortable, can be sitted for long periods of time without feeling tired. At the moment, I've just tested it on a chair, hope to test it soon while driving. The only detail is that it puts a bit of a pressure on the genital area, but I think it is something that one gets used to, a small price for this awesome cushion. One thing that I found out is that the foam gets impregnated with the black color of the cover, the manufacturer explained this to me because I thought it could be fungus or somehting even though no bad smell was present, found out that this is normal, nothing to worry about. Excellent item!!

Product is sturdy and comfy like it should be for posture correction. My only issue with it is the cover which I find a little uncomfortable at times due to its texture but then again anything can get uncomfortable when you sit on it for long periods of time. And as a short person it definitely prevents me from sinking in to the car seat. Overall the design and quality is pretty good for it's intended purpose. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the design of the cover. Everything else is good.
