Euro Competition Judo Gi for Men and Women (Belt Not Included)

I recently started training and needed a gi. After trying several different options, i settled on this Fuji gi. I am 5' 9" (175cm), 185 lbs (84kg) and the size 4 seems like a great fit. The sleeves are perhaps an inch or two long for aikido and the pants are an inch long for me. (I normally wear a 30 inch inseam). I expect that after a wash or two, the fit will be exact. The gi has a good weight and feel to it and the fabric is very soft. I am confident that it will hold up in all types of training. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that there is an included carrying bag with this set.

Was a bit larger than I thought, but quality is equal to, if not better than, the other well-known brands such as Mizuno and KuSakura. Paid, priority shipping to the Philippines took less than a week, and with plenty of time to spare for use in an upcoming competition.

This is a great entry level gi. I’ve tried them all. They retain their shape, sturdy enough for some hard practices, don’t shrink too much and look great. They are true to size and stand out from the other brands.

It's a good looking Gi and haven't had any problems with it yet. I just train, I don't compete, so I don't know how this would hold up to that.

Perfect fit in the body and the pants fit great but the sleeves are about 3 inches too short, which they weren't when I first got it even after washing/ drying a few times. Seems like it kept shrinking for a while despite being washed cold and hang dried. I also have a size 4 - sleeves fit better but it is bulkier, longer and the pants are too big for me. If it fits you, the gi washes well and dries quickly and is a very nice and comfortable weight to train in. Would be perfect if the sleeves on each size were a couple of inches longer, then people could shrink to fit in the dryer. I am 5'11" 180lbs.

Llevo usándolo un par de años, excelente material, el gi es muy durable. La casaca es algo pesada pero te acostumbras a él rápidamente. En verano puede ser muy caliente pero nada que no se pueda soportar

Unfortunately was a little big for me but the return process was super simple and the gi did seem to be very high quality.

This is my first Fuji gi and it won't be my last! I have a Danrho Classic which is approx 600g and this one feels lighter and is so much softer to wear. I like both, sometimes you want to feel indestructible in your gi but there is an undeniable advance in quality between the two gi's. I am 5'11" and weigh 210lbs (15st) and I ordered size 4.5 which fits me ok but not perfectly out of the box. The sleeves are about 1cm too long and the chest/armpits are a little too baggy for my liking. There is a very nice feel to this gi and the collar is heavy but not too stiff like a lot of heavier gi's, very impressed! I have a 36 waist and the trousers fit very nicely, they rest on my heals about 5mm from the floor so I expect them to shrink to the perfect length. Outstanding judogi for the price! Quick update - After x2 cold washes I used the gi for the first time and it felt very nice to wear but was slightly too big (only slightly but enough to make me notice). As I said above, trousers were a perfect size for me and the length is good, the only very small issue was my lack of chest/shoulder size giving me more movement than I would like in the torso area. I decided to give it a hot wash cycle at 90° and then tumble dry it in 20 mins intervals, this has now created a much better fit without ruining the gi altogether. I would say you could get a size 4 to be on the safe side if you are 5'11" / 210lbs like me, I agree with a lot of reviews saying the gi's can run slightly big as my weight is above the limit for a size 4.5 but it is more than big enough for me. Hopefully this helps you decide.

Estoy muy satisfecho con este JudoGi, su calidad es excelente, vale totalmente la pena, los acabados son excelentes. El único detalle que es que es muy difícil conocer exactamente el tamaño adecuado, este que me llegó me sugerían comprar el 5, pero como ya me he equivocado antes con el 5 y me ha quedado muy grande, me pedí el 4 en blanco y aún así resultó ser una talla muy grande para mi comodidad. Mido 1.75m y peso 82kg, no estoy delgado, tengo cierto nivel de musculatura en piernas, hombros y espalda, además de la espalda y el pecho amplios, y tanto el pantalón como la chaqueta me han quedado muy grandes. Lo volvería a comprar comprando una talla más pequeña, seguramente pediré el azul en el futuro.
