Love it
This is part of my Christmas from the wife. I think this is great, I have used it for a few hours just getting used to the tools that come with it. The tools that come with it can do what they are meant to if you use them the wright way.

Poor quality
First time I opened and use the product (today). The on and off switch broke so it doesn’t stay on and one of the blades on the tool snapped within seconds. The threaded bit that holds the wood to the chuck just ripped out of the wood. Should be longer. Motor seemed powerful enough to start with. Shame switch broke. Could’ve sorted the other bits.

Good but…
Nice little gizmo for turning small bits of wood, Sadly the quality of build is not quite up to the job, The included tools are really quite dangerous to use, and the on off switch decided to get stuck on the on position, sent it back for refund.

OK ish moter and bit. Crap accessories.
The machine it self is not too bad, a bit noisy and vibration is high for such a small moter. The tools are an absolute joke, more like toys so they went straight into the bin. But overall I found use for it but not what is advertised.

Not sure why this thing has any bad reviews from my experience. I've never touched a wood lathe in my life. I took a 1x2 piece of scrap. It is pine and soft. Use the table saw set up on this item to rip it in half. And then made what was in the pictures my first try. I do agree the blades are not great and I will be ordering different blades but the machine itself is user-friendly. If you watched YouTube videos like I did I was super impressed. I could do this on my first try. For the price. It's a great machine.

If you've got a little bit of know how this will be a great little tool. My only issue was the length of the bed. I bought a second and made a bonus tool for finishing work, good buy for the value and you'll definitely want to secure it to a board for stability, lathes can be sketchy if they spin off balance

Literally used it one time, made one pass and it never worked again. This was after i returned the first one I bought because it wouldn't turn on. Don't spend anymore time looking here. Move on to a better machine.

The lathe is perfect for my mini wood working items. The instructions that came with it were vague but having used a full size lathe before I was able to work it out.

This could be a nice tool to use with better knives. The tool rest doesn't allow the tools to reach the material if you have small material, which is what I am using it for. I am attempting to make an axle extension with 3/16's material. The tool doesn't reach using the provided tool rest. I've modified it by extending the slot and It didn't help much. I could extend it more to get the knives closer to the material. I've done lathe turning before and I used to make lace bobbins for friends. I wouldn't dream of attempting to make them with the knives provided. This is a basic idea but it needs help before it works effectively. It is not a bad tool, it runs fairly quietly. It seems to have enough power to cut material if the tools are sharp enough.
