Vera Bradley Cotton Hipster Crossbody Purse

Wasn't sure about this bag viewing it online here. But its really quite adorable, I have a trip to Rome coming up and I wanted a crossbody bag with secure pockets and enough room to hold what I wanted to take with me on the plane. This fits the bill. I can easily tuck away a Kindle, a Canon Powershot camera w/charger, my cell and charger, a thin wallet, spiral bound index cards (what? you dont write all your impt notes on index cards?!!), a paperback book, gum/candies/mints and the little toiletries us ladies need (small lotion, chapstick, yada). With room to spare. A front zippered pocket would snugly hold your passport safe. Back zippered pocket for your airline tickets or wallet, there is even a front pocket that fits the paperback book although its not secured with a zipper. The inside has three pockets, all about cellphone size, no zippers. Zip closure on top. I read in the questions above someone asked about a Chromebook fitting - mine did but you couldnt zip it and it kind of killed the rest of the space. But unzipped, and fearless...you could make that happen. :D Long adjustable strap which is awesome for the petites and the plus sizes....one size fits all which is nice and rare. Oh...and as a gal who has never really digged these quilted type bags - this one is cute and pretty. What have I been missing all these years?! Watch out world, here I come!

This is my first Vera Bradley bag, but I have heard nothing but quality and how much these bags actually fit in them. Having 2 kids, things tend to get stuffed in my purses that I don't even know. I have found it a hassle for the last few years carrying a shoulder bag. Although large to carry things, its completely impractical and annoying having it fall off my shoulder, having about 100 receipts on the bottom and overall heavy.I don't know what I was waiting for buying one of these, this crossbody is a life changer! Not only is this Rosewood pattern absolutely rich and beautiful, it is very practical. There is a zipper on the back, a zipper and a pouch on the front. Lots of room, The pouch is deep so you can throw your keys in there without thinking twice about them falling out.The inside has 3 pockets to put even more things in them. THey are deep enough to put pens in where they won't fall out, and wide enough to get your hands in. I have been able to put mostly everything (minus the receips haha) from my big purse into my cross body without a problem. I love how the strap is adjustable!

I didn’t give this medium Hipster it’s just deserve in my first review. This Hipster has so many places to store your items, on the front are two large pockets one with a zipper, one above it an open pocket. The back has a smaller deep zip pocket . In the Hipster are two slip pockets on one side and on the other side a zipper bag that goes almost the full length of the bag. I put my planner, book and 9.7IPad and fully packed it wasn’t to heavy. It’s good quality cotton inside and out. What a beautiful splash of coral and pattern for Spring and Summer. I’ve gotten several compliments ! Thanks Amazon!

I bought the raspberry colored purse as my previous go-to bag was wearing out on me. LOVE this color, bright and cheerful and just a bit boho, and the size is perfect. Big enough to hold all the essentials, plenty of pockets and inside holder areas so it doesn't become impossible to find a smaller item inside. Seems to be sturdily made, not a stray thread or worn area in sight. Very pleased, would definitely buy again.

I love love love this purse! The pattern is super pretty, pictures don’t do it justice. This bag is big enough to carry just the things I need, or small enough for a few items. The strap is adjustable to the wearers preference. I wear my long enough to hit my hips but it could go even longer. The shortest hits somewhere in the waist area but being a crossbody, I don’t wear it this short. It has a zipper and two pockets inside and a pouch on the front with a zipper on the backside. Plenty of pockets. This is a gorgeous bag all around and is buy more in other colors!

For the amount of money that I paid for it, this purse proved to be a decent product, but it's not a purse that you can expect to keep for more than 3-5 years. The pattern is quite cute and I have gotten a few compliments on this bag, but the cloth used on the bag begins to fray after a few years. This is definitely a purse that you need to keep away from dirty environments because the lighter-colored parts of the cloth tend to show decay after a while. This is a good bag to wear if you are just casually running errands, but definitely not one that you would want to bring with you to a job interview or any event where you have to dress up formally. Overall, I liked this bag, but it is important to remember that is going to fall apart eventually and it will not be one that you will want to carry around for more than 5 years at most.

I am in love with this bag. I was a long hater of Vera Bradley, but I saw this pattern in the store and fell in love with the colors. Unfortunately it was out of my price range and the one in the store was to big. I gave Amazon a shot and found this bag and it's perfect. The price was reasonable as far as Vera Bradley's go and the size fits all my stuff with extra room should I need to throw in a glasses case etc. The unexpected bonus is how light it is, no more sore shoulders from heavy bags. This is a great bag for everyday, but because of it's light way and easy to wear across body style it's great for travel as well or when you want your hands free.
