Great siphon. Once installed and the flow rate was adjusted, this thing has been running like clockwork. No issues and well made. The thin walled pvc makes it easier to work with and you can’t get that stuff at local hardware stores (at least mine). I wasted my time trying to build one with residential plumbing parts but after several hardware store trips and very little success I broke down and bought this siphon. So glad I did because not having to worry about that part makes aquaponics/hydroponics so much more enjoyable.

Would not operate as set up ,I had to add a snorkle to the bottom wit 18" drop to create a siphon , I also scalloped outthe top of the drain flare in 4 places 1/4" deep and the siphon trippled ! It allowed the w a ter to enter on 4 sides !

Everything you need, poor bulkhead solution, see photo, it's gonna leak eventually and I don't want to deal with it so I'll figure out a way to beef it up.

Works as expected. However, I had to run to Lowes to get an extension so I could fir this in the base of the growbed which is 2 inches thick. Once installed, I had to cut the center pipe a couple of inches to set the water level to go over the gravel, which was set to around 10 inches. The growbed I built is 8X2X1. I used 4X4 for the 4 corners, and a lot of 2X6X8s to build it so it can hold up to a ton of gravel, and lot of water. The pump works every time without fail and almost empties out the bed. However, I had to reduce the speed of incoming water from the pond else, it keeps pumping water into the bed putting it into a never ending waterfall type pump cycle which I do not want. It has to stop once the water bed is close to being empty.

like the design, the different adjustments I really like, after installing the bell siphon it would not brake siphon , called supplier for help, told me to remove part of drain pipe or play with water Flo. water a day trying to make adjustment, I just added a snorkle tube and all the problems went away.he should just send a snorkle tube in the kit
