These neck warmers, or snoods as I’ve always called them, do the job simply and effectively for the price that I’ve paid. They’re stretchy, relatively comfortable and pretty soft. I bought these for my hiking and mountaineering adventures in Scotland, when the wind chill is -10 Celsius these provide a lot of comfort and warmth. Excellent purchase for the price!

Excellent gift, keeps put the cold and wind.

It's ok and keeps you warm however Its a little on the short side if you wear it over the top of your head to cover your ears and head then the back of your neck is exposed and gets cold. With a gaiter you should be able to cover your head and neck at the same time as pulling over your mouth while still covering your neck. It just needs to be 1 to 2 inches longer and it would be perfect. Luckily The item comes with 2 items so I used one for the head and ears and the othet for the neck and mouth/nose which works ok. But not ideal I have given 3 stars because it does keep you warm but i find you have to use both at the same time. To cover your head and neck and mouth. Had it of been 1 piece I would be sending it back. It would of been nice to have one piece big enough to do the job it's meant for. You get what you pay for I guess. Still it kind if works with a work around.
