Check the bungees, hooks came off a few while driving.
The straps did not hold good. I had to reenforce the straps and lost some on my first drive. It is a very nice cover but check your straps first.

If you value your paint, don't buy this!
Cheap buckles. 2 broke when setting up for 1st use. Used it for a road trip, it worked, kept stuff dry. However very lose fitting as bungies wouldn't stay tight. Lots of air got underneath while driving. Two buckles rubbed clear through the paint. Scuffing from others. Terrible over all.

Plastic buckles brake
Air comes up from the back of the truck bed where the rear window is and air gets underneath the cover and gives it a lift and there are no eyelets or hooks to run a rope through the back of the cover or the rear window is that’s why Air gets underneath there .The buckles that they use are cheap plastic and they break when you pull a tight on them to tighten them. They should use stainless steel buckles .Besides that it’s a nice cover overall I had to tie a rope over the top of it just to have peace of mind that it wasn’t gonna blow off

Great cover and gear stayed dry
Had to get this in a pinch for a weekend cabin trip. The forecast called for rain and I had to protect our gear. It was super easy to install and adjust the straps. The cord tension was strong and had no worries of the cover coming loose. Great temporary alternative to a tonneau cover for a weekend trip. Rained liked crazy and no water entered the bed area.

Topper
It is not a substitute for a topper. You would be better off using a cheap topper. This one starting to tear at the seam across the middle. Not bad yet, but itis starting. More importantly, the straps wear into the paint on your truck. Now i can feel the groove from the wear. I will have to spend the money on paint that i thought i was going to be saving on the topper or more. Protect your truck.

Broken grommets and a hole 2nd use
Worked great until the second use. A few of the grommets popped off during transit and the corner of a packing box was able to pop a hole through the tarp itself. The box wasn’t even sharp or sticking out much. If it took that little amount of pressure to pop a hole, this thing won’t hold up for much more than looks. It does scratch your truck even with the protective rubber and flaps to keep it from scratching! I’m not too worried about that because I’m not anal about scratches but I know others are, so beware. It did keep everything dry and fit very nicely though. Just a little bit of sag towards the cab of the truck that we couldn’t pull out but nothing terrible. If you want to use it more than a couple times, I suggest paying a little more and getting a fold up hard cover. I just wanted something with a little bit of flex so I’m not restricted to what I can put in my bed. Allowing me to place items that stick up above the top of the bed just a little. But this tarp clearly can’t handle any pressure against it or it gets holes.

It’s in the review...
UPDATED 05Jan2021: I used this for a 1100 mile road trip so I’m just now getting around to the followup. I initially gave it five stars but I have to change it to one. For very specific short term use this is probably just fine since even in the heavy rains of my trip everything stayed dry, but over the course of my road trip it seriously damaged my brand new paint in multiple places. I included pictures of the damage it caused. My local auto-body shop quoted me a minimum of a $1000 dollars to repair the damage since most are down to the body of the truck. If left alone the damage will cost me a lot more later on. The risk of damage to a vehicle’s paint to me far out weighs the benefits of using it. I put it on at night, and it wasn’t hard to install on my Canyon even with it being placed over my low-pro toolbox. It fit pretty well once I figured out to pull it much farther down on the front end of the bed. Otherwise, you end up covering the tail lights completely. It just felt like it was a bit too long, but probably isn’t. The tie-down straps are adjustable, but I found that when you adjust them to shorter lengths, it leaves a tail that slaps the side of the truck when I drove, so I wrapped the tails around the hook, and it wasn’t an issue. They put a piece of material that helps keep the hook from directly rubbing the paint that hangs down about 2 inches below the canvas. It helps prevent the hook from rubbing or slapping the paint, but I feel it should be a couple of inches longer to help minimize the cord from touching the paint. Even with the cord tight, there is always the possibility of the cord moving across your paint. The only real downside to this product is that it was missing one tie-down strap out of the box, so I didn’t put one on the tailgate that it should have had. I can purchase a tie-down if necessary, though.

The tonneau cover fit perfectly over the truck bed for a Chevy Silverado. 5.5ft box. Easy to attach the hooks, and easy to tighten to ensure a snug fit. Drove from Ottawa to Nova Scotia without an issue!!

The tarp cover doesn’t fit my Silverado 8’ box, it’s missing at least 6 inch in the length (see picture). The bungees are very weak and with just a little snow or rain on the tarp, the weight extends the bungees and creates a hollow on the top of the tarp accumulating the elements even more making the bungees useless. The bungee’s fasteners are in cheap plastic and crack in the cold weather. 4 out of 9 plastic fasteners are broken on first removal. I do not recommend this product.
