I had the original bright eyes lights five years ago or more. Had to get different lights because the battery would not run for two hours. This new bigger battery has yet to even run low after two hours.

I ordered this battery twice and both times it did not come with the charger when selecting the bundle version. The battery works great though. I would give 5 stars if I received the charger.

This is my second battery pack from Bright Eyes and just like the first one, the durability and longevity is great. But I have to agree with another review that the mounting system needs help. The straps aren't log enough to wrap around a seat tube or downtube and then have something to secure it back to. There needs to be some velcro added to the body of the battery pack for the straps to secure to. I ended up having to use my water bottle cage to put the battery pack in and then I could secure the straps. BE, bring back the original mounting option like on the 6400mAh Battery.

Has the rated capacity, weatherproof, works as advertised and they seem to have fixed the problematic connector on the older revisions where the contacts would slowly corrode over time.It does seem to have a higher self-discharge than I would've liked, but I commute by bike on a near-daily basis, so it gets charged almost every night anyway.

Tested it out after a rise to see how much longer it had. 7 hrs on high. Pretty impressive.
