I started using the Waterdrop Water Filter for my kitchen sink faucet a few weeks ago, and it’s quickly become one of those small but essential home upgrades. Installation was straightforward no special tools, no plumber needed. It simply attaches to the faucet in seconds and makes the whole setup feel solid and dependable. From the very first glass of water, I noticed a smoother, cleaner taste way less of that chlorine flavor that always bothered me. Even when I use it for cooking or making coffee, the difference is clear: the water tastes fresher, and the coffee flavor seems to come through more naturally. I really appreciate that this filter is NSF/ANSI 42 certified, which means it reduces chlorine taste and odor effectively something I care about since I drink a lot of water throughout the day. The countertop design is compact and doesn’t clutter up the sink area, which keeps the kitchen looking neat.

UPDATED JUNE 2024: Immediately upon this review below being posted to amazon, the Waterdrop Filter Company reached out to me with great concern and a sincere desire to make good on their product. I had no idea when I posted the review to give potential buyers a heads up that the company would even look at the review much less respond with such a generous offer. They replaced the filter system at no cost and tossed in a free filter cartridge as well. The new filter system arrived and I noticed that the design is a bit different. Now there is a port on the bottom of the unit where a wrench type device can be inserted to give extra stability and leverage when it comes time to remove the filter cover to replace the cartridge. The tool to do this was also included with the cover wrench and all of the other accessories needed for easy installation. I have not tried to open the filter cover yet as it is a brand new unit, but I feel hopeful that in a year when the filter needs a cartridge replacement I will be able to open it. If not, I feel equally confident that I can contact the company and I will receive prompt help. I'm very impressed with and grateful to the company for the quick and generous resolution to my problem. This is the best countertop water filter I've ever owned. It does what it says it will do. The water tastes great and the unit itself is attractive, unobtrusive, and takes up very little space. My only problem, and it is a huge problem, is that I cannot open the filter when it's time to replace the filter cartridge. Yes, they provide a little wrench but it is absolutely impossible for anyone with no hand strength, with arthritis, or who is just weak in general and without anyone strong in the house to help out to change the filter. I found this out much too late after I'd already fallen in love with the things so today I had to order a brand new unit. I have no one I can ask for help. I read the instructions and I even found YouTube videos detailing how to open the unit but it's impossible. Fortunately, their priced low enough that the cost of buying a new filter is much less than what I was spending for drinking water yearly. They're really could have been a better way for them to have designed this unit for easier opening.

I love love love my WD CTF-01!! It replaced a discontinued Aquasana sink faucet model and, I must say, is even more compact, prettier, and with better water flow. Setup was a snap -- and the water tastes great. In use since April, the unit's water stream remains strong; no filter change in view. Speaking of which, I called Customer Service in a panic when I couldn't locate the wrench needed to open the unit when the time came. They sent a new one immediately, no cost. This is a terrific company. Customers' ***** reviews are merited. Happy to have found Waterdrop.

Great water at the turn of the knob. I love it. This is so convenient. Water taste fine with good clarity. I normally fill a pitcher and cool it. I wish that it came with an adapter at the end of the non filtered water faucet. I could screw on a better spray nozzle. The nozzle that comes with it is actually a little course and water splashes a little. A threaded faucet end that could allow an added on a sprayer with gentle spray and flexible movement would be nice. Better yet, the addition of that better faucet end would be terrific without much additional cost by manufacturer. However, the filtered water spigot is just perfect to fill a glass of water for drinking.

1. My water pressure is better than tge original aerator! 2. Water pressure on filter side is amazing! 3. Easy installation I was shocked regarding the water pressure. I have worked in commercial and domestic water systems. Have gone to filter and pump school. Filters can reduce water pressure. NOT THIS ONE! In fact, taking off old aerator, installing this system, I was stunned at regular water pressure. Also, great water pressure coming from the filter side! I was stunned! I am on a municipal water supply. If you are on a private well, it will depend on your system. I got mine to reduce or eliminate chlorine and fluoride.

I purchased a WaterDrop countertop water filter from Amazon on May 1st to replace one I've used for years which was discontinued. I received the WaterDrop on May 3rd. I opened the pkg and was impressed with the quality of the product. However, I was unable to remove the canister from the base to check the filter. I called WaterDrop May 3rd and spoke with Peter (very nice) who offered to send me a replacement. I later received a lovely email from Krystal, Customer Service Rep., apologizing for my inconvenience and that the replacement was on its way with an ETA of May 6th. Said and done. I just finished installing it; looks good and works nicely. I'm very pleased with my interaction with WaterDrop and most especially with Krystal's consistent courtesy, thoughtful emails and obvious attention to detail. WaterDrop is fortunate to have such a person serving in an important role, especially in the retail business. Who doesn't like courteous, attentive customer service?

Very happy with the product. It was very easy to install and it is easy to operate. The filtration system itself seems to have a good build quality (likely to last a long time), and filtered water tastes great.
