If you need a flat, easy to apply and easy to clean metal “band” to finish out anything retro looking— this is your product! We could not find an appropriate metal banding or molding for the top of our Formica backsplash. It was finished in the red, so I had resigned myself to the fact that it would just stay that way.. Altho I wanted another layer of chrome so it would look more finished. Polished, if you will! Someone in an old house group mentioned this tape- and we ordered it as soon as we read about it!!!It did take two people to install properly— Altho it couldn’t have been simpler— just peel and stick! If we had shorter sections- one person could have done it- but one wall was 15’ long— so two people helped keep it straight and inline, one put it in place, while the other would pull the adhesive strip and keep the extra up and out of the way. Almost 25’ of tape was used and finished in maybe 20 minutes, if that long!It’s only been down 6 months now— and so far, no issues! There’s a lot of steam in this kitchen and it hasn’t affected it! Cleans like a dream too.

I loved this product for what I used it for and it wasn't for a car. I created this huge 10 x10 foot mural of outer-space, in an large half circle shape. The attached this to the very edge of the mural and now it looks as if I'm in a spaceship looking out the window into space. Awesome!!!!! Who knew????? The chrome finish really sets it just right. Installation was a breeze....

After receiving the molding I was all ready to adhere the side molding to the freshly painted limousine (18 ft long) and at the beginning the molding would not stick! Terrible, if it would not stick at the beginning it would never last down the line with car washes. This company didn't use 3M tape. So, I had to purchase a roll of double sided tape, spending more money and time than I anticipated. I didn't want to take a change on another product not sticking so I just bought tape. I should have looked for products with more reviews, this company had only a few.

Exactly as advertised.

While it is peeling a bit, I do not know if it was the adhesive or just bad prep work on my part. I would find it useful for decorating or crafts, I have some concern with its ability to hold up to the weather.

Used to rehab glad shower stall frame trim. I had my doubts, but really matched existing Original trim that is now corroded. Great adhesion and eat to install. Make sure you clean cut and cover.Saved thousands of $ by not need to replace. Shower now Looks brand new!

Doesn't stick well (even on a properly prepared surface ). Also shows white stress marks from having to use a squeegee to aid with holding the molding down (because again, the adhesive isn't good). Ended up using a sealant to get it to stick. Also, because it comes rolled up, that also contributes to the trim not staying flat on the surface. Maybe placing something heavy on it, to flatten/ straighten it out before attempting to peel the backing off and using it may help?
