Every now and again I will get something on Amazon and it is the absolute business. This is one of those occasions. For £16 this wireless charger is absolutely brilliant. I thought the attachment to the air vent might be a bit feeble but it’s not. It doesn’t wobble or shake and the automatic grip and release is brilliant. Shows up as charging every time. Really hope it lasts

I did have a ‘magnet type’ holder/charger but as I tend to drive continually on very rural roads which can be uneven and bumpy and I found that my phone eventually fell off with a magnet, so I bought this one which automatically grips and cradles my phone perfectly. I chose vent mount and it works very well and grips the vent solidly. It is easy to install and use - you just place your phone in the cradle - it automatically senses your phone and the arms clamp and hold. There are 2 buttons (one either side) and a simple press releases your phone, even for a short time after the engine is turned off. However as far as durability goes I will reserve judgement because I am now on my second charger - hence 4 stars instead of 5. The first one worked perfectly for maybe 2 months, then I noticed on occasion a hesitation in the unit clamping my phone meaning I was on the move before it clamped, then sometimes it refused to release on button press. I don’t want to be too negative, because as with anything mass produced there is bound to be the odd faulty one. I contacted Amazon and got a replacement very quickly, which I’ve been using for a month now. **Update I have now been using the replacement for 6-7 months with no issues. **Second Update The replacement has now been in constant use virtually every day for more than a year and I’m happy to say there have been no issues with it whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this product.

This wireless phone charger is brilliant. It is one of the best items I have ever bought on Amazon. This is why I have to love Amazon as they provide the best sellers for their loyal customers like me and customers who may use Amazon on occasion. This is highly recommended by me, great value for money, great functionality, and easy to use. The only issue is where the phone sits with the buttons on the right for my new Samung S phone as it covers over them. Otherwise 10 out of 10 for Auckly Wireless Car Charger.
