Holiday tradition to make a Bûche de Noël. Previously made the filling/frosting with hazelnut paste and Swiss meringue. Delicious but lots of work. This year whipped cream cheese with this chestnut purée. Equally delicious result at 10% of the effort. It’s sweet so no extra sugar added. Recommend

I made cinnamon rolls with chestnut cream on top (mixed a bit of this with regular cinnamon roll icing) and topped with roasted pecans. I had never heard of this and tbh bought it cause the packaging was pretty lol. This tastes amazing, easily able to be used, and it’s perfect.

That product is absolutly the best

This chestnut spread is tasty but WAY too sweet. The content is about 50% sugar. But there's a trick: Buy some unsweetened chestnut puree (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KN7E1PK) and mix it with the sweet chestnut spread at a proportion of about 50/50 (or whatever you like). That way you will have a spread that is about 25% sugar, healthier and with more taste of chestnuts. Put the mix is a spare jar and store it in the fridge. Freeze the rest of the unsweetened puree because it only keeps for a few days after you open the can.

This stuff is great. HOWEVER, it think there is sugar in it.

Package arrived very sticky. Upon inspection I noted at least three small holes that were leaking a sugary goo all over. This was for a gift. It is defective and there is a No Return policy. I paid a good amount of money for absolutely nothing. Issue was resolved, Amazon issued me a full refund.

I've ordered a few for our family and others as gifts ...It brings a typical and the yummy genuine taste of France to America in a delicious way without having to clutter suitcases or go through Customs etc . Brings back childhood memories - This is the genuine product and the 1 kg pouches are perfect since they can be opened and used over time PERFECT !!! They are my preferred packaging but regardless, the wonderful taste and the memories is what I'm after and it delivers.. and so easy to buy !!! Time to make crepes !!! The seller is also very responsive to questions and very helpful and quickly helped resolve a delivery issue I had. I will definitely continue to order

You’ve not lived life until you’ve had a crêpe aux crème de marron (this brand only). I bought this and it was a large bag and it was gone in less than 5 days. I just kept going back for more. I have to be careful, how much I order this, because I love it too much. In France they often eat with with “fromage blanc.” At one point I was eating it straight out of the spout; so I’m not one of those refined French people. The best way to enjoy this spread, in my opinion, is on a hot crepe, just off the grill. Slather on a thick layer, or squirt a town down the middle. Yummmmm!!! Delicious!!!
