Good earphones, but some issues
UPDATE 10-09-2020: I contacted customer support, and they had me mail in my headphones. A month went by, but I didn't hear anything, so I contacted them. They emailed back, apologizing for the delay, and mailed me a new box. I just received it, and everything looks good. It sucks that I had to exchange them, but I do appreciate that they honored their warranty. On a side note, I did some research on something called "soundstage", which basically simulates the way sound is bounced around a room before it reaches your ears. Premium headphones will have a good soundstage, whereas cheaper headphones will not. While these earphones have great sound reproduction, excellent bass response, and exceptional clarity even at high volumes, the one thing they lack is any soundstage. This leads to music sounding flat, like it's coming from inside your head. If you're looking for premium headphones that are going to elevate your listening experience, look for headphones with a good soundstage. UPDATE 08-30-2020: These headphones are starting to fall apart. The cord is beginning to fray about two inches below the left earbud. The warranty info on Amazon says one year, but when you go to their website it says 3 month warranty. I am still in the warranty period, but I contacted them through email two days ago and have still not heard back. I have not used these much, and I am very gentle with them. I only use them for listening to music around the house and plugging into my game controllers for audio during the nighttime. I have many other headphones I've had for years and are still in great condition, not to mention I kept these in their case when not in use. There is absolutely no reason these should already be falling apart, and no excuse for a "premium" pair of headphones to be made so cheaply. I am beyond disappointed. I thought I was spending money on quality. "You get what you pay for" and all that. I am hoping customer service is able to provide me with a new pair, and I'll update this review. Until then, I cannot recommend these cheaply made headphones that lasted only one month with gentle use. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really love these headphones. They're in a higher price range than I usually buy, but I wanted to get something with a premium feel. These definitely fit the bill. The packaging is impressive, especially all the extra earbud tips. The default that came on them are the perfect fit, but it's still nice to have other options. The build quality is great. They feel sturdy, and the cable feels like it will last a long time. They also feel good in my ears, very comfortable. The audio quality is quite good, however I have a hard time discerning the difference between these and other cheaper headphones. Not to say these sound cheap, but I have a pair of $9 JVC Gumy earbuds that sound almost as nice. I guess I was hoping to be blown away by these headphones, that I would hear something that I didn't hear before, but that wasn't really the case. These sound maybe 5% better than my JVC. Some headphones color the sound by amping up the bass, like the pair of Betron YSM1000 earbuds that I wasn't a fan of. These 1MORE earbuds have great balance, with rich bass that doesn't sound overpowering or excessive. The mids come through clear making vocals shine, and the treble is crisp without being piercing. These sound very well balanced for all genres of music, from rock and metal to hip hop and pop, and even classical and orchestral. I can hear a lot of fine detail in recordings that kind of gets lost through speakers, and these are probably the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. But I really have to listen carefully and deeply to hear any difference between these and my JVC earbuds, which is more a testament to how excellent the JVC earbuds are. So overall, the 1MORE earbuds are great and have excellent sound quality, but if you're hoping to hear something in your favorite music you never heard before, you might be disappointed. What you're really paying for is the premium packaging, the extra earbud tips, the high-quality cords and the sturdy metal casing. If you're willing to pay the premium price, these earbuds are great with excellent sound and quality construction, and I would recommend them. But if you want to save a few dollars, the JVC Gumy earbuds sound nearly as good for a fraction of the price, but with cheaper construction.

For modern music, the 1MORE Triple Driver Shines!
Let me preface this review My reference headset I use is Sennheiser 650s with a Valhalla headphone amp and Cambridge DAC Magic. I purchased the 1MORE Triple Drivers to replace a pair of broken VSonic GR07s (standard). I loved the sound of my VSonics as I found them to be one of the most neutral and expressive sounding in-ears at this price point. What I did not like about it was that the build quality of the VSonics was crap (case started coming apart after a couple of months, and after a year and 3 repairs, it was not worth repairing any more). I purchased the 1MOREs based on the overall reviews. My first impression: these things came packaged very nicely with an assortment of tips, a carrying case, and adapters. The build quality appears to be superior (casing is made of metal and plastic). Very nice looking set. They fit in my ears comfortably (although they stick enough to make sleeping on my side while wearing them uncomfortable). The main cable has a braided cloth cover which I think helps prevent microphonics (I do not have any issues with microphonics with 1MOREs). I use this with a Samsung S8 and the controls and mics all work properly. Out of box, these things sound underwhelming and stuffy, so as one should do, I burnt these in for about 2 months of daily listening before writing this review. After a week, I noticed improvements to the sound, and after a month, much improvement (I also experienced some ear fatigue during the burn-in phase, but for the most part that all went away -- I do get very slight ear fatigue after a few hours of listening, but nothing too notable). Now, about the sound. The 1MOREs have a slight smiley face EQ sound signature. Not as drastic as others I have heard, but enough for me to consider these less neutral than the VSonics. The noticeable increase in the lower register accentuates the area around 100hz frequencies which gives an unnatural character to acoustic and non electronic instruments. Kick drums lose some of its snap/tightness and bass guitars lose some of its growl. At the other end of the spectrum, the set adds a sheen to the high frequencies. I can describe this as a pleasant sounding sheen, nothing like sibilance (In fact there is very little sibilance). For modern music, this sheen is welcoming. It is a little unnatural for classical/jazz/acoustic music, but not distracting. The soundstage and imaging is excellent. The 1MOREs shine here. The soundstage is nicely stretched past my ears and instruments are placed in front of me, and not in between my ears. Sounds are clear and crisp, and instruments are placed in space nicely (exception are when accentuated sub frequencies overwhelm other low freq sounds). For certain types of music, (classical and jazz for example) sometimes instruments are spread out a little too wide. What this sound signature does, however, is make modern music sound exceptionally well. If you are mainly listening to pop, rap, EDM and rock produced in the last 10 years, the 1MORE shines very well. Everything pop/electronic has sounded exceptional. For jazz and older rock, the 1MORE is still good, but accentuated sub frequencies may overwhelm and diminish other characteristics like the snap/tightness of the kick drum and growl of a bass. The 1MOREs are decent for classical music and jazz, but I miss the natural sounding VSONICs for these genres. When listening to classical music/jazz, the VSONIC's expressiveness drew me into the music. I have not yet experienced this with the 1MOREs. So for modern music, I would give this a 5 star rating. Build quality = 5 starts. Comparing the sound to the VSONICs, particularly with classical, jazz and acoustic music, this is where I give 1MOREs the downgrade to 4 stars. But overall I recommend 1MOREs! UPDATE: I upgrading my rating to 5 stars. I have had these for over a year and use them almost everyday. I put quite a bit of stress on the cable at the plug when I rest my phone against my stomach when looking at it while laying down and these show no sign of wear and tear. These are build very well compared to other brands I owned. But the main reason for the upgrade is the sound. After some burn in, these things seem to sound more neutral than they did during the first month of use. One thing I really notice is that now, the sound stage appears in front of me rather than in my head. These earplugs do a nice job of "disappearing". In fact sometimes it seems like it does this better than my Senn 650s. Not saying these are better than the 650s because the 650s are a class or two higher when it comes to sound quality, but after the burn in, I have experienced many moments (actually catches me off guard) with the 1MOREs where the sound appeared further in front of me than 650s.

These look the part, beautiful packaging, with an immense amount of tips and a robust carry case. Unfortunately I almost returned them as I couldn’t get them to fit, admittedly I was 4 pints and a bottle of red to the good at the time. However sobered up I thought I’d give them one more go before submitting the return, the difference once I could see what I was doing was mind blowing. Off came the foam tips, a bit of experimenting with the silicon ones and hey presto, I had rich sounding music filling my lug holes. They slide in easily, a bit of a twist to secure them and they sat in place as steady as a rock, with no resetting required. The sound they produce for the price point is superb, highs are bright and clean, with the mids front and centre and bass where it is present is obvious but not to the point where it is detrimental to the song being played. There is no bleeding between the three and the buds present a crisp, clear sound. Obviously what you listen to through them will make all the difference, I subscribe to Tidal HiFi and the reproduction is top notch, I did also try them on Apple Music and the experience was not as good, despite Tidal not having an inbuilt eq, the sound was fantastic, Apple was plain poor with eq set as off and with equally as poor with various eq setting’s applied, no vibrancy, flat and muddy sounding with obvious compression and bleeding between the highs, mids and lows but what I might like and what you might like could well differ but these via Tidal hit the spot for me. As regards robustness, time well tell but if and when they do go, a replacement pair won’t break the bank, give them a try and you can thank me later. EDIT: After all that I ended up having to return them due to the inline control not working with my iPhone, unfortunately it’s not just with my pair as other reviews mention the same issue, if it’s something you can live without they still sound great, however at the price paid for them I’d expect them to be in full working order and I wonder could less attention was paid to the packaging and more to the quality of the product.

The biggest question in your mind would be "Is it worth the money?". The answer to that, in short is yes. Now to the "why" part. If you look at other good earphones brands like audio technica or shure, their balanced armature earphones are quite expensive. So in a way these are inexpensive for what they are offering. I have multiple earphones from multiple different brands (most expensive one being the shure se215) and all of them have different sound signature. Some are more bass focused (like the shures and bose) while some are more balanced (like soundmagic e80c), these earphones are the perfect blend of both the worlds. They are neither too bright nor too warm. Highs are crisp and at the same time buttery smooth. Mids are ample with excellent vocal clarity. And bass is just mind blowing. The biggest advantage of having 3 drivers is that none of them are overwhelmed by the frequencies they need to reproduce. The bass is tight and would make you feel like you are listening to a high end music system with a sub woofer. Sound seperation is good but what was surprising was the sound stage. Its just too good for an earphone. The build quality is something that other brands could learn from 1more (especially B&O with their H3 earphones). Its all solid metal and the wire is braided so no tangling. One con would be the bore size. Its quite big and the earpieces are heavy too. So if you have a small ear canal opening you might find it tough to plug these in (I'm posting a picture for comparison, the other earphones is the shure se215). As such, there is no discomfort for me even when listening for long hours. All in all, I would highly recommend these earphones if you can afford it. Normally I would provide an cheaper option with same performance in this statement of the review but unfortunately I can't think of any other product which can provide a comparable performance with lesser price, so thats quite a testament to these earphones. Thanks for reading.
