Great Monitor, reliable company.
Great monitor. Adds 77% more pixels cause it’s 1440p and maintains 180hz refresh rate which is good for casual gaming. A good addition to any set up. I buy AOC for all my monitor set ups.

The HDMI cord that comes with this monitor does not allow 144hz. Buy a 2.1 HDMI 8k.
THIS MONITOR IS A GREAT DEAL, HOWEVER, THEY SEND A HDMI CORD THAT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR 144hz to be used with it. You will only be ab le to use 60hz. For me anything above 60hz showed green dots. The higher the hz the more green dots all over the screen at random. At 60hz, no green dots. That said you have to get an 8k HDMI 2.1. !!! I went to target, they only had 4k HDMI High fidelity, not strong enough! You've been advised. Bought this not knowing it was refurbished. It doesn't say on the page like it should. After doing a ton of reading about the best budget gaming monitor this is the one I could best afford. I could have gotten one for $70 more that has 4k, but really it's a waste to go 4k IMO. I am very happy with this 2k HDR10. I am glad I got it. If anything changes I promise to come back and update. So far so good. I almost sent this back thinking the 4k HDMI cord was the enough to use the higher hz. I kept reading and finally found the truth about running these high hz monitors requires the right cord for it. Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to have dual monitors at gaming speeds because my gigabyte laptop has a bug where it can't do it with usb to HDMI. Be sure you check that your gaming laptop has 2 HDMI plugs before you buy. PS the specs saying this is QHD and not LED is wrong. They are two different technologies. Best value of all 32 inch monitors? Possibly.
The Good: Great contrast and color. You can play with the settings to make it really pop without touching your graphics card settings. It seems they solved VA black smearing in this cheap model? If there is, I don't see any. I usually test this driving around at night in Cyberpunk 2077 or looking at the stars in No Mans Sky. Even at low FPS (60-70) there is no black smearing but there is more motion blur. At high FPS (120+) it looks absolutely perfect to my eyes. I'm running a 9800x3d + 9070XT and it can push lots of FPS. Gets decently bright too. I had to lower brightness because it was straining my eyes. No dead pixels. VESA mountable. I don't think you can do better for the price. The Bad: HDR is broken. You will not get it to look good no matter what you try. Windows HDR calibrator, monitor settings and graphics card settings will not be enough to fix what is broken. My advice is forget its even an option. SDR is perfectly fine. The stand it comes with is garbage. Get a VESA arm or mount. Other Thoughts: My experience with AOC monitors is hit and miss. Some last 10 years and some last 10 weeks. I'm really happy with this one so I hope it sticks around. Other monitors tried and returned: HP OMEN 32q (mediocre) Samsung Odyssey G50d (beyond terrible). For the money you will not get a better 32.

Great quality.
Great quality, it works well with bright color. It’s sturdy and has a good weight to it so it seems like it will last. The size is perfect for my gaming set up and I’ve played hours of games on it without having any problems.

Great Budget monitor best purchase I've made. Works great on a ps5, visuals look amazing and sharp, furthermore, great warranty support.

Great monitor turned into a cheap knockoff of itself.
This monitor used to be 5 stars for me. I've purchased several over the years and I've loved them all. Until now. This is the third iteration of this same model I've had, and each time they keep redesigning the stand and base to the point that it's gone from 5 stars to one. The old bases, as shown in the advertising pictures, is a sturdy, solid frame that mounts in the middle of the monitor and has a press-and-release locking mechanism. You'd have to press the button then lift and rotate the base out. Very secure, very steady. The new model is mounted at the bottom of the monitor and requires 3 screws. The screws did not screw in well - they feel like they need additional torque to secure but that would damage the screwhead. With it mounted so low, a little jostle causes the entire monitor to wobble. They also increased the stand depth, causing it to stick out about another inch or two in the back. The old stand had a hole in the center so you could route cables through. The new stand has something similar, except it comes in from the right and exits in the front-middle, so if you want to work on cable management, you can only do it from one side. They also keep changing the monitor's height (not adjustable). First was fairly low, then they raised it up a few inches, now they've lowered it back another two inches. So, if anybody wants two of them, I'd get two at the same time rather than wait a couple years so you don't wind up with mismatched heights. It's a good monitor, but its easy to see they're either over-engineering it (unlikely) or doing everything they can to make it cheaper to produce (likely), and having watched the build quality drop dramatically since the first one I bought in 2019, I'm dropping my rating. Edit 1: I took another star off as the new version is also about 2-3 times slower coming back from sleep mode. Old versions boot up and turn on in a couple of seconds this one takes 5-6. Not a big deal but another sign the quality is going downhill. Edit 2: Taking another star off. Sometimes when my computer comes back from sleep, the monitor just never wakes up. I'll have to turn it off, wait, and turn it back on and it'll work then or I'll have to restart my computer.

you wont find anything better for this price. its GREAT!
Came fast, Was EXCELLENTLY priced. and AOC might have started as an off brand a decade ago, but they refined their craft. picture clear, colors are vibrant (that contrast ratio is NUTS). coming from a 1080p 165 HZ 31.5" monitor, its like getting glasses for the first time! 9/10 would buy again
