This is a spicy hot sauce, but not terribly hot. I use it on tacos, burritos, hummus, veggie pizza, and boiled eggs.

My favorite hot sauce of all time, better deal than Costco, amazing packaging on this. It's spicy for people that don't like spice but it's medium spice for those who like spice. Not too vinegary

This is a classic Mexican/Southwestern hot sauce, that has become one of my favorites. A little goes a long way. I was glad to find it here on Amazon in the large bottles. The 3-pack of large bottles came particularly well packaged. The inside box was impressively purpose-made to hold these bottles of sauce. As such, they were very well cushioned and protected against breakage in transit. It would even be giftable, for the right person. Cholula adds lots of flavor notes, in addition to being quite spicy "hot." I like that it has a thicker, less vinegary consistency than many hot sauces, which makes it easy to spread over solid foods (e.g. burritos, tacos, pizza, tortillas, chips burgers, chops) but it's still thin enough to mix easily into eggs, pasta, rice or soups. It is great for cooking Mexican or New Mexican dishes. People have varying sensations of what is spicy hot and what is milder, so It is hard to state how spicy Cholula is. For reference, I like things quite picante--way more than most folks! So to me, this sauce is a bit spicier than the average hot sauce. Nothing crazy, but it is still possible to overdo it, by shaking too much onto your food. When the bottles get emptier, it flows much more freely. So use carefully to avoid pouring too much. I like hot sauce a lot, so I have a few different ones that I prefer to use on different cuisines. Cholula has a very distinctly Mexican/Southwestern flavor as compared with Franks Red Hot or Tabasco. So this is my hot sauce of choice for that type of cuisine. I also find this sauce stays mixed in soup better than many. Despite its thicker consistency, Cholula doesn't tend to just float in blobs on top of even a thin broth.
