The Witcher Boxed Set: The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, Blood of Elves, Time of Contempt, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of The Swallow, The Lady of the Lake, Season of Storms

The Witcher book series is honestly my favorite. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but the world, the characters, and the drama just pull you in fast. Geralt, Ciri, and Yen feel so real that you get attached with them. Out of everything I’ve read, this series sticks with me the most. I always end up recommending it because it really is that good.

As a huge fan of The Witcher 3 video game, I had been meaning to buy these books for a long time, but never got around to doing so. The books are just as captivating and very easy to build a mental picture. I have read The Last Wish entirely and am partially through Sword Of Destiny. So far I have not ran into any of the print issues that early reviews have stated. The latter reviews showing the issue has been resolved is what gave me confidence in making the purchase. If I do run into any print issue, I will update the review to reflect that, but so far, so good. I love the cover art for these books, but I hate that the "Netflix" circle is part of the print. Not a deal breaker, but was not a fan of the Netflix series as far as I was able to stomach to watch. But believe me when I say that the book series (at least as far as I have gotten) is much better.

One book was slightly damaged and had a page misprinted.

I received this particular set of books today. Because of the reviews with complaints of missing pages, this is the first thing I checked out. I wanted to make sure that these missed pages didn’t come with the set I bought. I checked all the pages that reviewers said were missing, and they are no longer missing. They are all there. The set itself was in perfect condition, all books are perfect. The only complaint I had was the way that the books were packaged. There were two cardboard coverings of the books. The first one had instructions on how to open that particular package, but the second one was at hassle and a half. It was wrapped in the box, but almost the entire box was covered in tape. I had read another review that said that the second box was trouble to get open. I had to be very careful with a knife, because any mistake I made would have damaged the set This sellers price is at least $15 less than others. I was hesitant because I thought maybe it was less because it was somehow damaged or whatever, but that wasn’t the case. This was the best price anywhere. I could not believe it. Go for it! You won’t be disappointed in the least. Just be careful opening the boxes!

I was skeptical about purchasing this after reading the reviews about misprints. My wife and I went through every single page of this collection to make sure it was fine so if there is a problem, I could return it during my return period. I found NO ISSUES at all and no misprints. It’s a great deal and the books are nice! Would purchase again.

Amo el video juego y la lectura está maravillosa, un poco difícil si el inglés no es tu idioma nativo como en mi caso, pero si no te importa utilizar el traductor de vez en cuando son unos libros muy recomendables, vale la pena el precio por el paquete, es mucho más económico que comprar todos por separado

Haven't open the plastic packaging yet, but from outside, can see that one of the books (Season of Storms, most right) is damage. Also, the edge of the box is very slightly dented, but not noticeable at all. So I'm fine with the box itself. Delivery was fast. Overall, 4 stars as the book should have been undamaged.

I used to live reading books like this, but stopped a while ago. I have really gotten into the witchers series both the game and the tv show. It took only one day for this box set to areive (Germany), and it arrived in perfect condition and as described. I have already hinged the first 40 pages tonight and am very excited to have found this series. Hoping it rekindles my love of reading. 6€ per books is a mind blowing price. You can’t go wrong; Amazon is too good about returns in case of any issues.

A remarkable fantasy series, that goes far beyond the lore of the popular video games. Recommended for all who's interested in the genre
