I’ve tried several carpet shampoos over the years, but this Vax Platinum Professional solution truly stands out. I used it with my Vax carpet cleaner, and the difference was immediately noticeable — it lifted old stains that other products couldn’t touch and left the carpets looking brighter and refreshed. The Rose Burst scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering like some cleaners, and it does an excellent job at neutralising pet odours. We have a dog and two kids, so our carpets take a beating, but after cleaning with this solution, the whole room smelled clean and fresh for days. I also appreciate that a little goes a long way — I only needed a small amount in the tank, and it still produced great results. The liquid doesn’t leave any sticky residue, and the carpets dried quickly. So far the best carpet cleaner Ive used. Put it in my Vax carpet cleaner and was surprised that I could actually see where I had cleaned as I was cleaning which usually doesn’t happen with the cheaper solutions. Unlike the cheaper brands the Vax doesn’t have a strong scent and doesn’t really need it due to its cleaning effectiveness. I suspect the cheaper brands add more scent to mask its lesser cleaning ability. Now what you have to ask yourself is, is this worth more than twice what the cheaper stuff is? To me the answer is yes because not only does it clean well but it really does seem to rejuvenate the carpet, can’t explain it better than that but the carpet just looks BETTER.

Purchased this product to use with our Vax Smartwash. We had the option of £23 for 1.5L or £36 for 4. As a busy household with children, there are lots of spillages on the carpets. With this our carpets are looking fresh and in a new, soft condition. There are no nasty smells either which is a great bonus.
