RIGOL DS1054Z Digital Oscilloscope, 50MHz Bandwidth, 4 Analog Channels, 24Mpts Memory Depth, 1G Sa/s Sampling Rate, Free Trigger and Decoding Function, 3 Years Warranty

I needed a 4-channel stand-alone scope that could do 50Mhz to work alongside my current 2-channel 25Mhz USB Picoscope. Whilst the latter has been very useful over the years, having an all-in-one unit that does not need to be plugged.into a PC to work would be advantageous. The unit is well built and solid, with most regularly used functions available as buttons or dials on the fascia. It comes with 4 average quality 1/10x probes and a mains power lead. There are a couple of pull-out feet on the base to tilt it at an angle. These feel a bit flimsy, but have survived so far. The screen is very easy to read, but can get a bit busy when there are a number of waveforms on screen. Whilst it's not a MSO, it does offer decoding of a handful of serial protocols, and 4 channels should be enough to cope for most eventualities. It is possible to connect the scope to a network, though I've not investigated that. Finally, why did I choose this scope in particular? If you search online, and at time of this review, it is possible to unlock all the features of the scope using a key generator online. My scope came preloaded with all the features bar one - the hardware is superficially similar to the more expensive 100Mhz scope, so it should be possible to double the sample frequency by generating a key and entering the code into the scope.

Arrived 3 days quicker than advertised and immediately put to use and has not disappointed. Works as advertised with many useful features. Will take some time to become familiar with all the features. As a basic tool it is very good.

Should have been advertised as new old stock. Calibration cert is from 2018, so it's 3/4 of the way through its first certification period. If I was using it for anything other than hobbyist use then that would have been a problem.

I bought this as my first oscilloscope for my hobby electronics lab, opting for a four channel 50MHz model rather than one supporting higher frequencies but with only two channels. This has turned out to be a good choice: as a hobbyist you are less likely to be working with higher frequencies but the extra channels can be particularly invaluable especially when you are learning how different circuits work.

Very good value, Screen is super. A pleasure to use. Most people don't need >50MHz scope for regular work, then this scope does everything you could need.

Able to decode digital signals including ASCII and can be upgraded to 100MHz. The probes are a bit flimsy with respect to the compensation screw. I got some other probes online.

Quality feel to the controls and well packed for transport

This Rigol DS1054Z worked for a short while after purchase, but developed a fault causing it to be frozen at the boot screen. I contacted Rigol and they sent a replacement unit. It took about 3 and a half months for the replacement to arrive, but I am happy now.

Emballage très correct : - (câbles secteurs, USB et 4 sondes fournis), - Peu encombrant, - Écran taille comparable oscilloscope analogique, Premiers essais en 4 voies pour premières mesures simples: - prise en main assez aisée (en 30mm le tour des fonctions les plus utilisées), - Assez fluide et intuitif, - Effacement mesure sélectivement impossible sur le scope, - Petits PB de rafraichissement mesures.. - pas si bruyant. Utilitaire RIGOL PC DS Tools utilisé en remote et capture écran : - très utile en complément des touches du scope, - accélère les manips, - simplifie les mesures (data et clear selectif), - qq petits pbs de bande passante (utilisé en USB) Bref plutôt très bon oscilloscope numérique portable : c'est un Rigol ! D'autant plus qu'il "parait qu'on peut le passer en 100MHz (H:5nS)" et là le prix devient plus doux :)

Dieses Oszilloskop macht einfach nur Spaß. Es hat eine sehr gute Verarbeitung und besitzt viele Features.

Ottimo oscilloscopio a 4 canali. Seppur entry level, è molto preciso e ricco di numerosissime funzioni. Utilissima la funzione "math" per i vari calcoli. Display enorme e di facilissimo utilizzo grazie ai tasti funzione da entrambi i lati. Preso come oscilloscopio da battaglia rispetto ad un altro Rigol di fascia molto più alta. In realtà se la batte alla grande. Comodissima la possibilità di espanderlo (anche a 100 MHz) cin vari pacchetti di aggiornamento, si può anche aggiornare il firmware e stampare le schermate di misurazione o creare report e schermate digitali, in vari formati, salvandole su una pendrive usb, non incluso. Il software è multilingue ma non c'è l'italiano, ma non serve perché la terminologia è standard in inglese. Utilissima la guida online presente nell'apparecchio che spiega la varie funzioni a seconda della schermata in cui uno si trova, semplicemente premendo un tasto dedicato "Help". Può anxhe essere messo in rete assegnando un IP o DHCP o IP dinamico o MAC address. Nella confezione ci sono 4 sonde ben fatte e cavo USB per collegarlo al PC oltre al cavo di alimentazione. Molto soddisfatto per il mio laboratorio, lo consiglio.

Livré avec toutes options activée sauf la bande passante à 100MHz. Un petit tour sur Internet vous donne la procédure à suivre pour générer le code à renseigner dans les options. Et voilà ! le DS1054Z se transforme en DS1104Z ! J'ai comparé les même signaux entre le DS1054Z et le DSO5102P signal carré jusque 15MHz et demi oscillation jusqu'à 30MHz. Rigol est bien plus juste. J'ai pu décoder les trame RS485 de mon jukebox avec les décodeurs intégrés.
