An Excellent product that was really easy to set up and have so far worked flawlessly. We have one of the sensors situated 200m away and it works without any problems. Sensitivity good too - don’t go off when our dog or cat pass them - but do when a human does.They have given us real piece of mind - and as they don’t rely on internet to work, when our internet was down and our cctv cameras didn’t work - these still did - fantastic.Also worth noting is the company themselves have excellent customer services - all emails replied to in a friendly and timely fashion - can’t fault them at all.

As advertised. Excellent range. I purchased the package that included 3 sensors. We have placed one in the paddock at the rear of the house which is at least 500m away and the sensor works brilliantly, as does the one‘s on the front drive And side of the house. We have had them for 3 months and no battery issues so far. They are more expensive than some but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them.

This is a superb product - sensors are solar (even gets enough sunshine in UK) and receiver plugged into mains power.Used for not only driveway but around the garden covering all entrance/exit points into the woods and fields that surround us. Absolutely brilliant.Came across this excellent set up system that to scooch (Sensible Prepper) in US.Fast friendly service, decent system with 4 different chimes.Even better, after sales service is excellent.Lost the back cover of my receiver, dropped the company a line to get a replacement back cover - and they swiftly sent me a new receiver unit.Cant argue with that superb service.Highly recommended. There are some design problems which affect how this product can be installed. The solar panels on the sensors slope downwards towards the lens. The instructions advise against pointing the lens towards the sun but this means that the solar panels cannot face the sun. Also the advice about positioning the sensor about 4 feet above the ground can be difficult without obscuring the solar panels from the sun. The instructions do not give a picture or visual representation of the detector beam shape which makes installation a bit of a guessing game regarding angle of detection. The receiver plays different tunes depending on which sensor has been activated. Unless the owner has a good musical memory, it is difficult to know which sensor has activated without looking at the receiver to see which light is flashing. Perhaps sound pulses or bleeps corresponding to the sensor number ( 1 to 4 ) would be more helpful.Given these remarks, I think that this is a good product.

This is the second system I have bought! I have found it exceeding easy to fit (just screw it to a post or wall), connect base unit to a power supply where you can hear it .... and it's done!I did find it is better to place two units 4/6 mtrs apart as it is possible to have an animal 'set it off', however, if you have two (as I do) then you get the first tone, followed by a second different tone and know you have a 'visitor'!Has worked faultlessly, which is why I have bought another set, for elsewhere.

Easy to set up and works well. However, having installed one for myself and then one for a neighbour I found that all his sensors operated his and my receivers and all my sensors operated my and his receivers. So, if you can be sure that no-one else has one within a half mile radius buy one; if you can't be sure you may get spurious alarms when someone else's system is triggered.

Best PIR’s on the market , I have 6 and wouldn’t use any others . Very few false alarms, great range . Solar power is a game changer , batteries in receiver last approx 4 weeks before recharging.

wireless signal powerful enough to get through a number of solid walls, portable receiver so can monitor front gate from back rooms and garden. Had for a couple of months, detector has self charged through sun, cloud rain and gales. Like the two levels of sensitivity, though pheasants do set it off, smaller birds not detected. Rather expensive - would have liked a hood to protect sensor as directions state keep out of direct sunlight - need light to charge photocell which is angled down toward sensor. So comprimise on siting.

Does what it's supposed to do Have bought a second one already .

We have a long driveway and cannot hear when people drive in. This alarm is consistently chiming when vehicles or people arrive and leave. This alarm is adding some security to our country living. Very pleased.

Now have a receiver in each of the two barns, in the garage, and in the house. Now know if anybody is driving in.

I bought one of these for my drive way about three weeks ago. It was a little difficult to put the back cover/mounting-plate on. Plus if you do not have the center screw that is in the swivel tightened just right, the sensor will not stay in place. So you must take the back cover/ mounting-plate off to tightening the screw. I am sure that design is to make the sensor is water tight. I followed the instructions of charging the rechargeable battery for at least seven hours. I mounted the sensor and was satisfied with the sensor and receiver. So much so I bought two more to be mounted in areas where I wanted an alert when animals passed in front of the sensors. The rating of up to 1/4 mile maybe true, if the sensor to receiver is line of sight with little or no vegetation obscuring the signal. Normally sensors for my animal alerts are triggered at least 4-5 times per day. I am into day one of overcast and rain. I noticed no signals from ANY of the three sensors where I would normally be alerted to animals on trails or cars coming down my long country drive way. My conclusion is the batteries are dead or water got to the circuit board or the solar charger is under designed or a combination. I believe as usual the design is sound but the manufacturer “made in China” (printed on the box) uses the cheapest components as possible. Thus the product does not perform as advertised or designed.Update: After one day of sunshine the sensors are working.Update 2: I give the Hosmart customer service team five stars and the product three stars. The sensors are sporadic in sending a signal to the receiver.
