Fits nicely. Does the job

Very good addition to my TG-7... Works excellent and costs fraction of what the original does. The TG series lack of the lens protection is quite annoying, dust, fingerprints and dirt get onto lens and show on the pictures, this little cover, protects the lens and limits above to occasional clumsiness. It fits just like the OE cover and was one of the first accessories I got for my TG-7

This Lens Protector Cover fit perfectly on my TG-6. It was a snap to install and remove, and the mechanism to open and close the protective blades functioned smoothly and precisely. Some reviewers report problems with stuck blades or a non-working mechanism, but mine exhibited no issues whatsoever. Dust or sand in the mechanism may jam the blades, but they can probably be restored to full functioning with some judicious cleaning. For the everyday use to which I put my camera, this is a great accessory at a fraction of the cost of the Olympus name-brand item. This is SO much better than the detachable, easy-to-lose separate lens cap that I'd been using since I bought the camera that I have no hesitation in giving it a most enthusiastic five-star rating.

Easy to put on my camera, very difficult to remove. Unable to close lens cover after first use and when I tried to get it off, it was extremely stubborn. Does not work as advertised. I don’t know if sand got into or not, but if that was the problem, rinsing the camera and lens cover did not solve the problem. I was worried I was going to break the camera trying to remove it. Waste of my money and time.

It protects my lens and pretty easy to use. It did get stuck and wouldn’t open. I used silicone grease which helped. I used it on a freshwater kayaking trip and lens cap is stuck wide open, offering no protection from scratching, water droplets. Garbage . Returns in 30 days and it’s 1.5 months so it’s not refundable. I give it 1 star at most

Great accessory. DOES NOT MAKE WATERPROOF. If you plan on using underwater be sure to put the original cap! Sorry for the caps but I needed to make that clear lol. Very easy to use and put on the TG-7

Fits well. Easy to open and close the shutter. This is the 2nd one that I have bought. I was using the first one on a trip down the Green River in Utah. There is a lot of very very fine sand there and over the 11 days I was on the river it gradually became harder to use until it eventually locked up on the last day. The first one lasted 3 years and if it wasn't for the sand I would not have needed a replacement. I think the build quality is great.

Item fits well and looks good. It operates smoothly to open and close. Hopefully it stands up to time.

The lens protective cover lives up to expectations, works as expected and was easily fit onto the camera.

I'm actually surprised that the TG-6 does not have a lens cover to begin with. That being said, this one fits perfectly and works exactly as it should. Price is good, in my opinion this is a must have to prevent damaging the lens inadvertantly.

Does not operate easily or 100% all the time. Opening and closing is very difficult and frustrating, sometimes only half of the shutters will move when opened or closed. Requested return 6 weeks ago and item is yet to be picked up.

Works as its supposed to at a fraction of the price of the olympus version.

So far so good. This cover seems to work fine and gives some added protection at a reasonable price.
