Unique, great fun
Size - 27 x 19 Number of pieces -1000 Piece type - all pieces have the same two knobs at the ends, two sockets in the middle Piece size - small (see picture) Difficulty level - smooth sailing Quality - good quality, no peeling pieces or imcomplete cuts This was so much fun! It is good for anybody, but great for Austen readers. You work the puzzle, and as you do you find characters and scenes from Austen books. Whoever designed this really knows Austen's stories. The illustrated characters are minor character as well as main characters. There is Darcy and Elizabeth at Pemberly; Willoughby carrying Marianne after she sprains her ankle; Lydia and Kitty Bennett flirting with soldiers, and much, much more. The picture is colorful, and stuffed with details. Normally I would be bugged by the lack of variety in piece shapes, but I enjoyed this so much that I can overlook that flaw.

Perfect for Jane Austen Puzzling Enthusiasts
This is a puzzle that I will assemble several times again because of the fun theme and creative design! If you love Jane Austen books, then you'll appreciate the thoughtful little details throughout the artwork! The type of picture made it an easy puzzle to assemble: the lines of the drawings are clean, the colors are vibrant and distinct, and the size of picture fits well with the size of the pieces. The cardboard is thick making the pieces durable. The pieces are uniformly sized and standard in shape--none of those wacky-shaped pieces that make the puzzle unnecessarily complicated to fit together. It also comes with a poster that identifies all the characters and tells a fun little story. It would be great for a girls' weekend or a Pride and Prejudice viewing party (the long BBC version of course)!

Awesome puzzle
I love to do puzzles, and I'm almost a Ravensburger purist. This puzzle was excellent. It was very fun to do because of the variety of colors and patterns. The pieces interlocked beautifully. I had no trouble moving sections that were assembled outside of the puzzle frame. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Love the Laurence King “World Of” series puzzles!!
I loved solving this puzzle! I’m a huge Jane Austen fan so the theme is spot on for me, but there is so much more to this puzzle. I will begin with the excellent features but then will list the bonus puzzle within a puzzle that was a wonderful surprise (for me). Sturdy, well made puzzle pieces. The puzzle lifting test, passed with flying colors. Very little to no dust. Mild glossy finish and some glare with indoor lighting. The images are bright and clear. I will mention that this particular Laurence King “World of” puzzle is very busy and detailed. This is a 1000 piece puzzle, but I do wish this one was 1500 pieces. Simply because it is so busy, I believe the images would have been sharper. The poster is huge, I forgot to measure, but I believe it is larger than the completed puzzle. Very handy and useful. Bonus puzzle: The completed puzzle is also another puzzle, in that you can try to identify all the characters and homes/towns etc. Hint: some details of characters may be referenced from the books rather than the popular movies. The back of the poster has character names and other relatable information either from Jane Austen’s life or from her novels. I love love love this “World Of” series and have already purchased World of Sherlock Holmes, World of the Tudors and World of Shakespeare and have another 3 or 4 pending purchase. Difficulty: 3 out of 5. The similar color buildings caused me the most trouble white/beige and the darks ones. Order of sorting/assembling: I placed my border first then bodies of water, lg ship, colorful townhouses. Before the buildings, I placed all the people as best as I could, then built the houses/grounds around them. I tackled all the green pieces next then the completing the white/beige and dark/brown houses last. Fun puzzle!
