These pens are great if they match what you need (and I love them). Up until they start to run out of ink, it generally flows nice and smooth (no need to press down or leave physical indentations in the page) and produces very crisp, clear, dark writing. They soak in enough that they are indelible and good for formal documents, although they can bleed a bit if you are writing on cheap paper and they can show through to the other side if you have especially light weight paper.

Writes great, lasts a long time. I can't recommend if your a heavy / hard writer.

I have used this brand of ink pen for two years for both writing in my art Journal and for doing sketches. You can get them in various sizes, but I prefer the extra fine for light sketching and writing. I know they're not advertised for art , but I find the fact that they are NOT waterfast makes for some interesting shading when you add a little bit of water to what you're drawing. The lines will bleed a little bit when you dab a bit of water, making for very soft shading and interesting backgrounds. I can even add a little bit of water 2 days later because the ink still has a little bit of moisture in it. So if you're looking for smear-resistant,this pen would not rate high. That's just fine with me because that's what I want to do.. smear a bit! It won't smear however on dry paper. The ink in the pens lasts a long time as long as you keep the caps on.

It’s only been a couple days but so far they are working fine and they look nice. The biggest issue aesthetically is the screws. I have 4 inch posts so it requires the adapter and it must be screwed together. They also don’t sit very deep on the post so it must be screwed together the post. It would be nice if they had caps to cover the screws. I don’t have any other visible screws on the railings so they stand out. But, so far so good.

Terrific pens, my favorites. Extra Fine point and easy to write, quick to dry. As a lefty, a great instrument. Best price I've found.
