Potter The Knot Book of Wedding Lists Book

I started planning my wedding in the most unstructured way and had no idea how to get things in order. I was just about to give up and elope when I decided to buy a wedding planning guide and I am so glad it was this one. I was already using theknot.com website and tools for some of my planning but the many aspects of a wedding just overwhelmed me at times and this book was a wonderful tool to keep things in order. It's a small book that you can carry with you pretty much anywhere (I did) and is broken into the different parts of a wedding. It organizes into checklists the information and tasks that need to be coordinated and includes explanations of anything that may not be immediately understandable (wedding gown cuts and train lengths, different types of bouquets). It incorporates and provides suggestions for all different types of ceremonies and receptions from very religious to civil ceremonies and intimate receptions to black-tie affairs. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has decided to plan their own wedding!

This book is amazing. It was gifted to us as an engagement present and honestly was such a lifesaver. Everyone has wedding advice, but the great thing about this book is that it contains so many tips (and organized in a super intuitive way!) that you can just decide which “to-do” items you should think about, and which you can ignore. No judgements! No hurt feelings! Perfect take-it-or-leave-it wedding advice. The timeline is super helpful as well! Honestly, I didn’t even use any other wedding planning books. This is a one-stop shop! I have since gifted this book to every close friend who has gotten engaged, and every one of them has loved it! A perfect little engagement gift to send their way.

I live and die by this planning book! All brides need this to help with planning. It has information I was seeking out and information I didn’t know I needed! I was starting from zero when it came to wedding planning and this book helped me tremendously.

I love this book for wedding planning. It was the most useful book with actual checklists that were similar to ones I would have/did try to create myself. I saved time and was more organized. It has real advice, and the chapters and parts that don't apply are very easy to skip. You don't have to read the whole chapter or even the whole page to find what you are looking for, and it is flexible (just like the planning needed to be). I bought one for a friend that got married when she got engaged, and I hope to buy another for any friends that get engaged in the future.

If you are a bride, bridesmaid, Maid of Honor, or anybody involved with a wedding planning process, GET THIS BOOK! I promise you will not be disappointed. This book has tons of checklists and gives you ideas for things you probably wouldn't have thought of on your own. I am a bridesmaid for my best friend's wedding and I bought both her and I a copy of this and we talk about the checklists all the time. and it gives us both great ideas. I think the registry checklist is also very helpful. When it comes to weddings, The Knot knows their stuff!

The book did help me organize a few details but overall it didn't be of much use to me. It's mostly for brides to be who are starting from the beginning. I bought the book 5 months into planning and found I didn't really need the book as I thought. Though it did provide some useful information it also provided alot of information that didn't pertain to my wedding plans. I would reccomend this book to the future brides who are just starting to plan. If you're already months into the planning, I suggest you shouldn't buy.

Got this as a gift for one of my friends, and she is absolutely in love with it. It has everything you can think of for weddings and more! Super helpful and has great tips on the inside. As a gift idea: I went through the book before gifting it, and with post its, made notes of little jokes/comments on some of the topics. Great way to make it personable.

Super useful with all the lists you will need. Helps in planning tasks and knowing the right questions to ask!

This book is amazing! There is an explanation of EVERYTHING and helps you to plan from top to botton, even has a list of questions for any supplier you may think to hire for the big day. I only wish I would have known about it sooner! It could had made easier the beggining of my planning process. I seriously recommend this for every bride to be, or bridesmaid who wants to help a friend out!

I found this book very helpful. I am helping to plan my sister's wedding and I wish I would have bought it while planning my own wedding!
