The quality is effective as the higher lux brands like Kerastase. It's a great money saver, user friendly, and works beautifully. I saved a little money here vs. purchasing this product at a retail salon store. Works beautifully for grey, white and blonde hair color types.

I bought the travel/trial size bottle to see how this would affect my blonde highlights, which are several different shades of blonde, including some fairly strawberry bits. I use Strength Cure shampoo and conditioner already, and I wanted those benefits in my color corrector. Unfortunately, in addition to realizing absolutely no color payoff, I also had a substantive allergic reaction: full body hives and itch, congestion. In fairness, I didn't do a patch test because it didn't seem to contain any of my known allergens (chocolate, wheat). (And since I've undergone loads of allergy testing since I was 5, I know my allergens.) I've never had a reaction to any hair dye before, and I've been getting my hair colored (or doing it myself) since I was in middle school. I know there is orchid extract in this product. I have several flower allergies, but orchids are not among them. I have orchids in my home and handle them weekly. So I highly recommend the patch test, which I have always skipped, but which all dyes recommend. And that's if you bother to buy it. Again, I saw no color payoff so I wouldn't recommend it anyway.

Be careful with this color conditioner, it is more of a blue color and will leave your hair with a green tint. Perfect if you want green, however, I tend to prefer purple for a more cooling platinum effect.
