missing 2 screws
It's a good product for a fair value, however mine arrived with two missing screws that are necessary to hook the hour glass onto the remainder of the apparatus. Looked everywhere inside and outside the box about 10 times to ensure this wasn't something I did. No. Just two missing screws. Being a typical female the odds of me having anything around to fix this situation is beyond lacking, however I'll check my local hardware store to see if they have any ideas. I bought it as a birthday gift and have a little time. Anyway, when it get's put together, everything belonging to the apparatus is functional, quiet, and moves with an appealing ease. I think it will make a lovely gift... eventually. :)

A little smaller than it looks online.
The product arrived fast and was very well packaged. I am happy with it. It looked bigger online but it was true to the description. I'm glad to have it.

Very memorable hourglass!!
I bought this for my boyfriend while I am working in Alaska to remind him it wouldn’t be that long until I am home. He loved it. Very well built!! We both loved the black sand!!

Love this for my office!
I needed better accountability and systems during work hours, and an hour time limit was just the thing. It's so fashionable and calming. Almost right on the dot with 60-minutes, maybe give or take 15 seconds. Highly recommend!

Sadly I paid $120.00 for this and was excited for it to arrive! Its not very good quality at all. When you flip it the screws all come lose...not from general use but every time u flip it the screws come so lose. The sand doesn't even filter though ..I've tried everything but it just crap!
