We decided on the spur of the moment to finally upgrade our mattress during this past prime day sale and ended up getting a great deal on the King sized Nectar Mattress. It was half off, I’ve heard great things about these beds in the past and after carefully doing some research just to make sure it would fit our needs, decided why the heck not and purchased the bed. It came within three days and after setting up a new bed frame for it we unboxed it-which I would do with help as the box is heavy and the sealed plastic covering the bed is a little harder to get off alone, although I’m sure someone could do it by themselves but would be much easier with help. Some reviews said the bed takes days to fully inflate but ours inflated fully within moments, almost instantly. The picture attached to my review is taken not even twenty minutes after we unboxed the bed. It is firm but also has the memory foam feel that has your body sinking in slightly and conforming to your body as you lay down. I’m a shorter, bigger woman about 260 lbs and it’s just the right amount of soft and firm for me. I add that because some people have suggested that the hybrid model mattress is a better fit for larger people as the medium firm model may be too firm and uncomfortable for larger bodies. I’m so ridiculously comfortable and relaxed in this bed and have slept better than I have in quite a while so that’s not the case for me at least. My fiancé is about 190 and taller and he’s equally comfortable and satisfied with the bed. This is simply the best mattress we’ve had in ages, only to be rivaled with our old Tempur-Pedic we had years ago which was the best sleep I ever got on any mattress in my twenty some years of life. This bed is up there on that level though and more affordable so I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If your debating whether to buy this bed or not I wouldn’t wait, amazing sleep and comfort are just an order away!

Came as expected. After 24 hours, this has been the most comfortable mattress. It’s been 8 months and still have no complaints. Great support for all your joints, your spine. I never wake up achey! Very quiet no squeaks getting in or out of bed, keeps you cool, yet warm. Never wake up aching except if I throw my pillows! We put it on a platform bed and it works perfectly, it’s the perfect height! Highly recommend!

This is such a nice mattress. I can’t believe I only paid $600 for it. It feels like a premium mattress. It’s not too hard or too soft, it’s just right. It was something I was worried about when I purchased this. I really hate most memory foam mattresses in the market, because over time, they tend to sag. I waited for a while before I decided to write my review, because I wanted to see if it would sag. But it’s delightfully comfortable and still as great as when I first tried it. I’m very impressed by it. I used to sleep on a beautyrest BLCK before this, and that’s a great mattress, but it’s really expensive. When I moved, I needed something good, but within my budget. This bed in a box delivered! I’m so glad, I feel like I have definitely gotten a good return on my investment with this mattress. It was very easy to set up. All you have to do is open the box, roll it out into an open space, and tear the plastic wrapping off. The mattress starts inflating as soon as you do. I put it on the floor so it would inflate at a completely level surface. I went on a business trip, and I came back, it was ready to use. I mounted it on my bed. It looks great. I’m fairly average in weight and height. I sleep on this alone, and it’s really great. I think another average sized person would sleep well on here with me. I don’t feel hot, but then again, I bought this mattress at the start of a very cold, bitter winter. I did put a mattress protector on it, which could also be why I don’t feel hot. The warranty was why I bought this mattress and not any other bed in a box. I felt at ease spending the money. I read other reviews of people remarking about how expensive this mattress is. I don’t get it. It’s a great value. You sleep most of your life, it’s the place you spend the most time in, get something good.

2nd Update: we have decided to return the mattress. We are so thankful for the 365 night trial. We feel this mattress may just be a bit too soft for us. While it’s extremely comfortable to feel like we are sleeping “in” the mattress, we don’t think it was ideal for my neck, shoulders, and back. So far Nectar customer service has been extremely helpful. I had to send photos of the mattress, then they sent someone to pick it up. Now, just waiting for a refund. They tell me it will take 10-15 days. They asked for my bank account info, which I wasn’t fond of, but hoping it will all turn out ok! UPDATE: I’m still sleeping very well and overall really like the mattress. I’m concerned it will wear out quickly though. We bought it in September and it’s now March and we had to rotate the mattress because I was getting very noticeable back and neck soreness every morning that was different than the original soreness I experienced. The mattress was noticeably more stiff when we rotated it, so we will see as time progresses if continuing to rotate it every few months will do the trick. I did a ton of research about mattresses. My husband and I are both primarily back sleepers, and he has some sciatic nerve pain. His nerve pain is now gone, and we are sleeping great. I love that I can barely feel when he moves! I’m dealing with a little bit of back and neck soreness but I think I have to figure out my pillow situation since I sink into this mattress more than my previous one. For reference, we are mid-30’s.
