Excellent, thoughtful design
I have gone through numerous gloves from other manufacturers, thrown many of them away and I keep on coming back to this company. I still have a pair of Harbinger's that I've resown a number of times because it's like a high quality broken in jean that you can't bear to get rid of. Thanks to Kendall Atwater who responded to my inquiries in a prompt, professional manner that reinforces my opinion of the quality of their personnel and their products. I am not bothered by the "tongue" as some others are as it appears to lessen abrasion and reinforces the glove. IMO I think it's a nice touch. Maybe it's my old age, but after going through so many gloves, I am still amazed at the complexity of stitching and the fact that the gloves hold together considering the pounding they take, twisting sometimes under hundreds of pounds of pressure. As with any mass produced product with some complexity, if there is a defect return it for another copy. If the manufacturer is reasonable, you should be too. People love to bitch as if they never made a mistake. Mine were delivered with no flaws that would impede its performance. I am a large with normal gloves (weather, driving) and the x-large was good for me as I like a little bit of wiggle room. The longer finger length was optimal for comfort as I bruise easy. No staining or issues with moisture. Comfort, performance & durability are relative terms, but I've done better with this company than anyone else. Again, I know opinions vary, but these gloves feel "substantial" to me so I couldn't disagree more with others that may say otherwise. It's a lousy analogy, but it's like wrapping your hands around a Mercedes vs a Toyota steering wheel.

Excellent glove! Amazing wrist support and construction.
Super fabulous gloves!!! I have wrist issues and these gloves are wonderful! I work out with barbells, bench and pull-ups. I find these gloves to be a major step up from my other Harbinger wrist wrap gloves. My previous gloves lasted for years and years but finally gave up the ghost. I’ve noticed some people find these gloves too padded. I don’t care to feel the bar or like a bare handed feel. I just want something comfortable that provides excellent grip and support and these gloves deliver. Please note, these gloves are ruggedly constructed and broke in after 1 workout no problem.

Cushion is good and why I got them.
Was having issues with pain in hands from lifting heavy so I got these as they have extra cushions on them. That works great and 9 months later still have no pain in hands. The only negative thing I can say about these, is that, the leather is now starting to peel a little around the velcro straps. If you are a consistent adjuster of your wrist straps like me, you will probably get the same experience. I adjust a few times after each set as you sometimes lose the same tightness after a set. So I tighten them very often each day I workout. Probably the wear and tear of those adjustments are putting strain on the leather around the velcro, but it would be nice not to see that prior to a year of usage. Regardless, it does what it needs to do and that is protect my hands, so this is a good purchase.

Comfortable Secure Innovative
I have worn Harbinger wrist wrap gloves for about 25yrs (Lee Haney inspired). When I first tried on the gloves, the palm inserts felt odd. When I started to lift the heat activation feature formed the inserts to the bar. I am now 64yrs old ,so anything that reduces joint pain is good. I feel that to that end these gloves give me the edge to keep me in the game longer. Also the added leather strap locks in the tension on the wrist wrap strengthening and protecting the wrist joint throughout the lift. The longer finger configuration protects the fingers better than past models, especially while picking up bars or dumbells. The horizontal openings at flex points aide in mobility and cooling. Also great looking glove. Mine are grey and black. Very happy with the gloves.

Design Fail
This my second pair from them after my old (extended finger design) pair lasted 4 years.PROsSizingColorExtended finger length gripCONsFit Lock tension tab is a nuisance and creates more strain on my wrist. Had to cut them off.Wrist wrap starts below the knuckles and creates strain (digs-in) on my palm when wrapped snugly.Biform pads take time to soften. Not ideal if your workout routine is only 40 mins.Harbinger please go back to your old designs and quality!!

BEST WORKOUT GLOVES I HAVE EVER USED.
HAVE USED MANY GLOVES IN PAST FOR WEIGHTLIFTING, HIT CLASSES, FULL BODY WORKOUTS WITH MY TRAINER. THESE GLOVES PROVIDE SUPERIOR CUSHIONING AND SUPPORT......REALLY LIKE THE WRAP AROUND WRIST AND VELCRO LOCK DOWN. ALSO MAXIMUM COVERAGE ON FINGERS AND GRIP EXCELLENT.I USED OTHER BRANDS AND BUT STEPPED UP FROM THE SMALLER HARBINGER GLOVES....STILL USE THOSE FOR FULL BODY HIT CLASSES.

Gold Standard for Gloves - Nothing Better
These are the gold standard for gloves. The 3/4 finger is great so you don't shred your fingers vs. ones that are too short. The wrist straps are great for stability to lift more. The padding holds up amazingly. It's padded just enough, not too much where you lose grips or can't feel the bar right. Some gloves, a bar just mushes into your hands... not with these. They last a long time, about a year if you go five days a week. Highly recommended.
