Better than expected
The quality is equal to the cost. Not super high quality, but good enough for my needs. I was looking for something small and light weight for backpacking. Tip for beginners: the black paint is pretty, but it interferes with fire steel. First thing I had to do was sand the paint (or scrap is also an option) from the fire steel and the knife edge I planned on using for a striker. Annoying that it was painted in the first place. Fire steels only work when it is metal on metal. It's better to spend an extra 10 minutes of prep time while unpacking than to be up in the hills and having to try and get a spark off of paint with wet, cold fingers. Once I got the paint off I was surprised at the quality of the fire steel. Second tip is that the hatchet is thin metal. I want to use this as a hammer for tent pins and so forth. So I welded two pieces of flat steel to the back. Tripling its thickness on the back edge. And covered that with another piece of flat steel. Giving it a low profile hammer face that still it's in the sheath. I planned this before purchasing the item, so that doesn't affect the star review. With a little modifying, I have a hammer axe combo that is lighter and less expensive than most. If you're handy you might want to consider this. The blades are sharp out of the box, just not that sharp as I prefer, but that is no biggie. It doesn't take long to put a good edge on them. Overall, I'm happy with this.

Great starter kit... Makes a great gift...
I think for the price this is a deal you need to grab for anyone interested in the outdoors... I view it as a starter kit that can grow and change with upgrades... ( IE the full tang axe is cool, but it's more like a swinging knife, Lighter than the included large knife) I have already upgraded this little axe to a Gerber... It provides a great base, all the blades will need sharpening prior to going out in the woods or you will be disappointed. The sheathes are what to be expected they are so-so ... The flashlight is the only thing I can really be cynical about... First off I have tons of little fu-fu flashlights and this fits in the junk drawer along with the others, I will say slightly better than dollar store quality, but if you can zoom in on my included picture, around the lens... The paint job is definitely poor and has a few rust spots already... The complete package is worth the money and don't let a fu-fu flashlight change your mind... It's a good starter kit... I hope it comes back in stock soon... Because I'd like to buy a few as holiday gifts...

Good, not great. Solid B+
The bad: The axe has no weight to it, the knife is not super sharp, the carabiners are flimsy, and do not fit all items, and the sharpener is to small to really be useful. The good: the axe and machete are absurdly sharp, and great for whittling and the machete is great for removing tree limbs, the rope is good quality, and the fire rod is a good make if you know how to use it. Untested: have not used the flashlight as I have a better one, but it fits in my glove compartment so it lives there for now.

Great for camping and zombie defense
Very sharp and perfect for zombie defense. If you're like me then you have an enormous zombie problem. Sure they claim to be various types of "delivery" drivers and say things like "please stop I'm not a zombie... I'm a human... there are no zombies" bla bla bla... but I know in my heart what they really are. The one that delivered this tried the same thing but little did that undead monster know about what was in the package he clearly stole from a proper Amazon driver. The blades are good quality. The hatchet is much smaller than you're thinking most likely. Would also work well as camping tools.

All n all id buy it again and recommend it to others
I love all the items n well worth the money even though there are a few defects as i would call them. It would help to have a top over the sandstone and firestarter with a button i lost the firestarter on my very first hike and never used it it fell out. And the belt loop on the knife sheath broke but i am pretty rough on things so half n half. And my main question is why is the hatchet belt loop made to hold the axe at a parallel to the ground position? Yes im using tbe carabineer to hold it where the handle hangs down beside my leg. But even though it sounds like im complaining its constructive criticism because I would buy it again because it was well worth the purchase after all this . I absolutely love everything in this package. 😁

A Good Inexpensive Set
My boyfriend and I do a lot of survivalist/prepper style camping, and bug outs. He loves this kit. While it all needed a good sharpening, they're holding up well...and he's hell on tools 😂 There's a few pieces in the pic that didn't come with the kit (like the 6" Baylite ferro rod with striker, and the Swiss Safe ferro/striker), but aside from those, all is included, and of decent quality. A great buy for the price.

Pleased with a potential to be impressed
Ordered this product and was happy about the professional and sturdy look. It has many extra features beyond just being a blade. The rope around the knife grip add extra security. Not sure I'll know how to rewrap it after I use the chord. The blades felt really sharp when I initially opened the package. Expected the teeth on the larger knife to eat through the ball when I pulled it back out. The video shows otherwise. But if sharpening is all I have to do then I'm alright with that. Good purchase. I'll try it in the outdoors to see how it really works. FYI, The ball was already losing air before I made the video.
