Would recommend!
My son was so impressed with this magnetic fishing set he got as a gift! It looks so cool right from the box. The quality is so good and it came with everything he needed to start fishing. The magnet is very strong and can hold a lot of weight. Compared to other similar sets, this one was the was the best value I could find.

Awesome product caution they're very strong and can pinch a finger very easily
Well I was going to use these to hang on the side of my electric scooter so when I go to the grocery store I could put a nylon bag that I use the shop with on the outside they're way strong and it's not a good idea to try to get them off you'll hurt yourself That's how Strong they are be careful

Pretty strong
I bought this because I've dropped things into the water while fishing. I've had my fishing pole pulled into the water by a fish, because I stupidly didn't put the pole in a rod holder. I recently accidentally kicked my fishing scissors into the water. Just so you know, this will not work on many things. It will depend on how much metal is on the object you're trying to retrieve, and how much surface contact the magnet makes. I tested it on my fishing pole, and it didn't work (not enough metal, and not enough of the metal making contact with the magnet). I tested it on some scissors, and it picked it up easily. I tested it on my 25 lb dumbbell, which also worked well. Then I had the stupid idea of attaching the magnet to a large piece of metal, that made full contact with the magnet. I had the magnet attached to a rope, and couldn't pull it off no matter how hard I tried. I had to drag the magnet to the edge of the metal surface, so there was less contact by the magnet surface, before finally being able to pull it off. Just a word of warning... if you're using it in brackish water or saltwater, make sure to remove the screw eye and clean both parts after use. I cleaned the magnet after use, but left the screw eye attached. I removed the screw eye a few days later and it was rusting.

Small but mighty!
Wow, never thought a magnet this small could be so powerful. I actually got it to magnetize some other items and it exceeded my expectations. It is true Neodymium which makes it so powerful. Very good price too!

Great Magnet! Bad rope.
I am brand new to magnet fishing. I just went over the weekend for the first time and tossed this into the water roughly 30-40 times. Within the first 10, I was noticing some bad splitting of the cover of the rope. The magnet managed the snag me a few small items (giant bolt, washers, spring, fishing hooks, etc.) that I can say are my first magnet fishing treasures! I did, however, get caught on some insanely big/heavy object and had a helluva time pulling the magnet off. This was actually a very promising thing as most, if not anything I try to pull up, shouldn't have any issues staying stuck. The rope also did not break, which is wonderful, however, I will be replacing it after having used it for just 1 trip, so, basically this makes your magnet $30 as the gloves are mediocre at best. Still absolutely stellar for a $30 purchase. I would highly recommend it. I went through Reddit posts to try to find the best ropes and managed to find that paracord is typically what is used. I have decided to go with a 1100 paracord, even though the 550 is likely enough for anything I'll be pulling up, but for just a few bucks extra, I think it'll be worth having that little extra safety net. Long story short, read title. Great magnet, bad rope.
