Love it...light, protective & didn't make my skin look grayish

Honestly….I stopped using sunscreen several years ago because it always left a whitish film on my skin. Yuk! I just got tired of it so I foolishly just stopped using sunscreen. Then when I went to see an aesthetician to get a dermaplane done, the very first thing she says is, “are you not using sunscreen?” I wasn’t even gonna ask her how she knew since she was looking at my face with a magnifying mirror. I told her the truth. And she told me about this product. I purchased it that evening from Amazon and it came the next day. I’ve been using it for a month and it is great. I jogging on a pretty regular basis and this sunscreen makes my skin feel FANTASTIC. The different mixture of oils definitely makes the difference. I 100% recommend this product.

For sunscreen to be effective you have to apply at least 1/2 teaspoon on the face and neck and that's a lot of product for the face. I applied this first thing in the morning on a clean face and it left my face very greasy and took a long time to absorb in. What I did like about this sunscreen is it did not leave a white cast and very little irritation to my eyes. Since you need to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, I feel this is too heavy for that. I'm looking for something lightweight and absorbs quickly for my face. However, I will continue to use this product on my body. If you are looking for a sunscreen product for your face that is lightweight or want to wear with make-up this is not the product for you.

My favorite sunscreen, especially on brown skin blends in vary well moisturize well

I really love this sunscreen. It blends really well and I also use it on my body . Not heavy at all ! It feels like you have nothing on, I highly recommend it.

I love Blackgirl sunscreen it is definitely for Black people. I used Supergoop for a while it's good but usually burn my eyes. Although Supergoop is pretty good I recommend Blackgirl sunscreen for Blackgirls and also brown tone people. The one thing about Supergoop they do make a very large lotion sunscreen that last all Summer and than some. My only problem with Blackgirl Sunscreen they don't make a very large pump bottle like Supergoop Sunscreen.

I only use it on my face and it surely does last ages, even managed to squeeze some more out when the bottle was empty. It’s transforming black beauty and yes we do need sunscreen. Thank you ladies for inventing this, very much appreciated. God bless.
