So simple to use Accurate pick up through a double layer of plasterboard Would've liked it to have been cheaper but its an import from USA Pleased with it, it certainly made quick work of attaching skirting

first of all, no off switch, so even when its not detecting, itll continue draining the battery, insert batteries one day, BRAND NEW ONES, they will be dead tomorrow

Works exactly as expected , easy to use , the led function serves very wet to indicate exactly where a studs / noggins are located , have only used on gyproc ( Plaster ) board material , works.really well on the material .

I ordered this stud finder as a stocking stuffer for me this year. I chose it because it looked more useful than some of the other products on the market. It is very easy to use, accurate, and specific enough that I can tell where the middle of a stud is when I am drilling holes. This model is really nice because it has more than just 3 lights - it has about 7, in fact. This means you can really get a really good sense for where the edges of a stud are quite easily, and also see when you are dealing with a post or double stud. This product is ideal for the home repair person who needs to do basic installation of things like shelves - ie. where you need to know where a stud is, and aren't concerned about finding wiring (there are other products by the same manufacturer that do that). I've put up a set of shelves, a fold out mirror, and a wall-mounted laundry rack using this stud finder, so far - all items that you really do NOT want to just use drywall to anchor. In each case, the stud finder has done its job perfectly.

I purchased this T6 stud finder for a few reasons. Firstly it is well reviewed with almost unanimously positive feedback. There is a protective case available for storage, although at an additional cost. Even though there are bigger models available the really big one is overly big and as suggested by some reviews is almost a two handed job to use.. Then there is the newer and bigger T9 which only has a couple of reviews and I could not find a case to fit. Also I have been caught before when a "bigger and better model" of some item comes out and it turns out to be a bigger and not better but more cheaply made with profit as a goal.

This stud finder is very easy to use, requires no set up or calibration, it just works right out the box. Accurate as well and easy to visualize where the stud is located.

Several tests have proved to be quite accurate at detecting studs behind gyprock and even bathroom tiles.
