Chartpak Graphic Chart Tapes, 1" Core, 0.13" X 27 Ft, Matte Black

I ordered this chart tape to make a weekly calendar grid on one of my dry erase boards in my family info center (basically a wall in our kitchen with 4 magnetic dry erase boards to help keep our family organized). I could not find a pre-printed dry erase board that included all the category rows we wanted for our weekly calendar, so after finding this tape I decided to make one myself! This tape was very easy to line up, position, and step back and re-position if needed. I didn't have to measure anything to get these lines straight, by being able to peel up and try again, it only took me about 10 minutes to make my entire chart! And once I got them where I wanted, I just pressed firmly along each line, and so far nothing has moved or peeled up at all. This is a great product, and I don't understand why it is not more commonly available in stores! 5/11/2015 Update: These lines are still firmly in place and haven't moved or peeled up at all.

I used this tape for what I'm sure is an unintended purpose. I recently hooked an HTPC up to a Samsung 50-inch plasma and found that the TV was displaying a thin white line on each side of the screen. After messing with the TV and video card settings, I read the Samsung manual and discovered that this is a known issue. My plan was to find some thin black tape that I could apply to the edges of the glass screen to cover up the white lines. This tape worked remarkably well! I was really surprised, actually,a at how unnoticeable it is. I showed some friends my new setup and no one noticed the black tape at all. If I was going to do this again, I would still purchase the same kind of tape, but I would go for something a little wider. The thin lines were only about 1/8" wide but I didn't take into account that you could still see the line when viewing the TV from an angle. I had to apply four strips of tape on each side to account for this. Other than that, it worked great.

This chart tape was perfect for my needs. When placed down on a surface, it has a slightly raised texture and the tape itself has a firmness to it. I had tried a cheaper chart tape to save some money but it was terrible in comparison. The inferior tape was thin like scotch tape and flimsy. Even the adhesion was vastly worse than Chartpak (the one improvement I'd ask for if I could). No more cheap tape for me! I've learned my lesson and will be using Chartpak tape for my projects.

This tape is great, and especially for the price. We had some special products to do on white boards and got this product to suit our needs. When the project was over, the tape easily came off without any struggle and the white board was as good as new. The tape was wide enough for us to label each row and column on our charts. The only con is that although it is simple to use, the tape gets a bit dingy after a while. We have purchased multiple of this product though, we are happy with it.

I purchased this small sized tape to secure Freight Car loads of pipe on my HO scale railroad. This is a quality tape, sticks well, and looks terrific. The seller was great, good price, and quick shipping. I highly recomment this seller.

This tape is fine, but be aware that the roll is pretty small. The inside diameter is about as big around as a quarter. I was expecting to get a lot more tape even though I read the dimensions listed here... so while the tape works, one roll wasn't enough to complete my project.

I used to create a faux stained glass window. Very happy with results. No problem so far with adhesion, even after repositioning to straighten lines. Applied to indoor side of double paned glass so don't know how it would do exposed to weather. Only con, matte finish has more shine than I wanted but OK.

I made a chart on this dry erase board to keep track of different vehicle assets. We used to just use marker and ruler to make the lines, but it was a pain to erase. Then I had the idea of using electrical tape and cutting it in half, which looked very uneven. Then I found this, and it's utterly amazing. It's the perfect size for dividing off items for a chart, so I can separate vehicle assets, and keep track of all the data points I need to keep track of. I know I can do all this on an excel spreadsheet, but there is something more satisfying with looking on a board and seeing what needs to be kept track of. Call me crazy. :)
