Great for glaciers
Tl;dr if you are actually going to use these where they were designed to be used, buy them. If you want them for style only, read my dislikes. Like: exactly as described. Super dark. Great for snow glare. Side light blocking works as intended. Looks fantastic. Huge attention grabber and icebreaker in Starbucks haha. They fit fine and I have a wide head. The ear loops work well when you're running/jumping about. Dislike: every day wear is not too great if you keep the leather on. Does not fit while wearing a full faced helmet. I would never wear these while driving with the side shades on due to restricted vision. Also, walking down the sidewalk I have to take extra time to look for traffic because of this restricted vision. Also, walking around Los Angeles at sunset I can't see if anybody is approaching from the sides. Lessens awareness overall. Did not include a hard case for storage, just a soft sock.

Worth it!
Great glasses. Fit and look awesome. Besides some individuals thinking you are steam punking it, lots of compliments. The only thing I have noticed is a slight partial halo in the lower outside portion of the lens, but only in the shade, completely not there in direct light. I enjoy because my eyes actually relax when in the sun. Downside is when driving, your peripheral vision is not available, you really have to turn your head.

A retro headspinner that turns the world into HD
I wear these out on colder hikes such as winter expeditions in New Hampshire and hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. Every time I wear them people are always asking me where I got them so that they can snag a pair because they're vintage look just never gets old. But aside from being a compliment-magnet, these are genuinely amazing lenses that put many sunglasses to shame with how clear and HD they feel. The side blockers are great for my very sensitive blue eyes. My only complaint is that after a while, they begin to feel uncomfortable behind the ear. I was hoping that the arms could be bent and morphed a little easier to fit my ear but alas every now and then I notice it putting pressure on the backside of my right ear. The nose bridge can also get heavy ever so slightly after a long period of wearing them, but nevertheless I still love these glasses.

Great Buy!
Originally bought these because I'm absolutely in love with the classic climbing look. Never expected them to work so well. They've gone on multiple climbs with me here in Colorado and even made it up Rainier without any problems! Me and my climbing partner both agree these work pretty amazingly for the price point. Only thing is they can be a little tight on your face, they have some funky spacing but the lenses are great. Didn't have a problem seeing the snow consistencies on Rainier with the lenses and here in Colorado I usually take them rock climbing with me. They have yet to scratch. 4 stars because they're obviously not as advanced as some more modern-style glasses/goggles but they do well as advertised. Definitely will always have a place in my gear!

Functional and cool
I wear them while riding my motorcycle. I ride a cool looking V-Twin Cruiser, wear a half helmet and these glasses. They look way more solid then all the cheap ones I got before but I read a lot of bad reviews about their durability. So far so good. Visibility through the glass is great. I would personally prefer normal temples though, I don't need these grips because of the way I use it, with a motorcycle half helmet. A bit heavy.

On the fence for return
Can only go three stars for now since I feel a little misled about the glasses. Product title says black frame-black lenses w/ silver mirror. I took that as a black frame with black lenses with a silver mirror coating. The frames are in fact silver. Haven't decided if I like them enough with silver frames to keep them or return them and look for something different. Have to see if the silver grows on me for a moment. As far as the glasses go. They work as sunglasses and I'm sure the side protection will work as I want for wind while driving with the windows and sunroof open. they seem very sturdy and they fit nicely. But the shiny silver frame though..... The pics and description also state that it comes with a microfiber cleaning/ storage bag. Nope. It comes with a microfiber cloth which is fine, but something to keep track of. The storage bag is actually a stiff felt bag that doesn't leave much room for the cleaning cloth. Small detail, but when being outdoors and active, its something else to keep track of and have to deal with.

Best eyewear I have ever owned.
Jeepers Creepers these are Fantastically Fantastic spex. Get your eyes back from the sun and send a clear message to bothersome photons; and that message is STAY OUT! Self-respecting UV rays had better not show their faces around these either, else they may find themselves filtered away. Not for crybabies, whimps or weaklings. Only a highly evolved and visually discriminating eye can or should attempt to adorn themselves with these. This means you, and only you are qualified to wear these; everyone else is just a wannabe trying to look half as cool as you look wearing them. But you didn't set out to look cool. No, sir. You just wanted adequate protection from the sun. Which is exactly what you have found; if adequate is code for excellent, terrific, and fantastic. Excellenterrifantastic even. Yeah. That's right. Probably also well suited for climbing glaciers as the name suggests but I don't do cold climates so that is for someone else to decide. Capital eye-dea, my friend; Simply Capital. If performance and comfort plus style are all qualities you esteem, the price is a bargain at half the price or twice the price.

Crystal clear, excellent vision, sturdy, old school retro cool.
Okay, I wear a 7 3/8 hat so the temples were tight, I've bent them out a bit and it's better. The ends of the temples where they wrap about the ear dig in at the end, so I bent them back a little and they're more comfortable now. The ones I had back in the early 80s before "steam punk" was a thing were gradient top and bottom to middle, meaning basically as dark as these are in the middle but darker towards the bright sky, and also towards the bright snow covered ground. Which I never went to, but they were still cool as heck. Unless you have to remove the side blinders, don't. It's a feat to get them and the lens in the exact right place and keep them there while reaching for a screwdriver! It can be done, but do not do it in front of children, nuns, the Pope, or your first grade teacher. 5 stars overall because they're excellent, 4 stars for comfort out of the box, but they are easily adjusted for cranial aberrations (big headed folks), 5 stars for value for the money, and I didn't put any starts for durability because I've only had them a day. But they are well made and sturdy. I think they will be just fine.
