I've been buying these Shimmering Sands eyeshadow for years. They are beautiful when applied. The darkest color is really beautiful on the bottom of the eyelid. Perfect colors for fair skin and blonde hair.Stays on for the entire day and all evening too. Nice soft glittery brown. Best eyeshadow ever!!

COVERGIRL - Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Eyeshadow - Pure Romance I had some hesitation after opening the package and finding such a difference in the shades I received (see photo) and the shades I thought I had ordered. But after scanning the bar code (and trying very hard to read the teeny tiny white printing on a pale pink background on the back) I have come to the conclusion that I did not, in fact, receive the wrong colors. So while I was hoping for mauvey pink tones, what I got, as you can see, was a lot more lavender/purple with gray tones. I considered returning it, but figured since I'd gotten it at a good price, I'd give it a try, if I hated it, I'd pass it along to someone else. Well... to my surprise, I really liked it. The colors are sheer but just pigmented enough that you can put them on and see them on your lids without having to spend 5 minutes with a blending brush to tone down the color. So you can definitely build to the depth and amount of color that you want. The quality is very nice; it looked just as good at 5 pm as it did when I put it on. The colors are soft and creamy and go on easily. I didn't notice any smudging or fading. If it helps, I am fair-skinned with blue/gray eyes and cool undertones, and while I am not normally a fan of purple shades (I am much more comfortable with nude or neutral shades) because they tend to be too bright for me, I don't mind these. I am considering ordering some of the other shades, but hesitant since I don't know what colors I will actually end up with. But other than that, I would recommend them--but maybe check them out in a store first and see how the colors in the picture compare to the real thing.

I really love these colors. I use them on my cheeks as blush. Really pretty and sort of subltle.

These colors are lovely they're very natural. You can use them to enhance your eyes by combining the lighter shades with the darker shades in the crease. They're not expensive and it comes with a lot of different colors and it comes with an applicator. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the lighter colors don't pop. They're very subtle and no matter how much you put on they just don't have that brightness that makes your eyes sparkle.

Very impressed how this was shipped to me. Legit glued inside of bubble wrap! Ok, so I used to wear Covergirl all the time, so was excited to try this eyeshadow. It's ok. The colors are beautiful. Pigment just isn't there but the shimmer does seem to stick around. Value for the money? Meh, I'll say yes, but I feel you can try something better for the same cost. Give elf or J.Cat Beauty a try!

I like the quality of this product and was cheaper than what I saw in stores.

I was looking for an eyeshadow without talc and this brand was recommended. The colors are not quite as solid or rich as I would have liked, but I guess that's an acceptable trade-off at this price point. They blend well, but they don't really layer much. The black and navy shadows have glitter, and the greys have a metallic sheen. (I know it looks light blue in the picture, but it's just grey. One is warm, one is cool.)

I have blue eyes, sometimes grey and sometimes green depending on weather, mood etc. This palette colour works for all three.

I always liked cover girl . Always used it growing up. Was good price and especially when you at that time a lot t of money. Worth the money 💰.

Beautiful colours! I have light skin and green eyes and these colours are so flattering. I love the middle shade in my crease and above as a sheer wash of colour. I use the lightest shades on my lids and inner corners for a little brightness. If you like heavily pigmented eyeshadow, this probably wouldn't be for you. If you're like me and want a more sheer wash of colour that still shows up, you will probably love this. It also aging skin friendly. In my 50s and no issues with that. I think these shades would suit any eye colour. This will be my easy, go-to for a quick and beautiful eye look and I think all my other eyeshadows will be neglected now. Definitely will repurchase.
