Very nice cake decorating stand. My daughter worked in a bakery for years and this is the one they used. Now that she's moved on, she wanted one of her own. She LOVES it and it appears like it will last a very long time.

I LOVE it! The Ateco 612 is a basic, heavy metal revolving cake stand without ball bearings. It works perfectly! It has a good, heavy weight so it remains stationary. The spin is smooth and easy. It will require simple maintence (greasing the pivot) through out the years but is well worth the savings over the 613 modle. I am not a professional baker, but I bake a LOT...especially cakes for friends, family and special occasions. This piece will make my decorating a lot easier. If you are looking for a durable, heavy, revolving cake stand without having to spend a bunch of money...this is the one you are looking for. It will last a lifetime. Very good quality and is a piece I would hand down to my daughter someday. I seriously considered the Ateco 613 because of the positive and abundant reviews but was a little put off by the price. I didn't find much in the way of reviews for the Ateco 612. The 612 is seriously awesome, really. Much, much better than the little plastic stands.

I got to use an Ateco cake spinning stand in a cooking class years ago. It was a game-changer! The heavy base makes it so sturdy, and it turns to easily to crumb coat, add details, or cake combing. Mine was lost in the move, and I have really missed it. If you make several cakes a year, I think that it is really worth every penny to have one!

I absolutely love this. I've read reviews regarding a bad batch (some people said the turntable was wobbly, etc). Initially when I set mine up, I didn't think the top was quite flush into the bottom piece. I decided to give it a try regardless of this to see the outcome. I STILL managed to frost my cakes beautifully. I love that this turntable is soooo smooth when it spins. I had a Wilton brand that was just such a disappointment with the creak and rattle spin..uggh, I'm sooo going to recycle it..The Wilton one I had consists of the silver balls and a plastic disc to enable it to spin. THIS turntable, however, is simply a sturdy bottom with a turntable top that has a metal pole-like piece..you just place the top into the hole of the bottom stand. The mat is awesome because it allows the cake to stay secure on the table top and not move while you frost your cakes..sort of like the shelf liners we bakers use to place underneath our cakes when we are transporting them for delivery..they stay put! Highly recommend this turntable.

I love to bake and have been baking desserts my for 30 plus years. Three years ago I decided I wanted to learn to decorate cakes. This turning cake stand made all the difference. It's extremely sturdy and easy to turn and use. I have created over 50 cakes using it and they have all turned out beautiful. The right equipment makes all the difference when decorating cakes.

I love this turn table. It is very stable and turns very smoothly. So helpful in frosting cakes!

I recently made a huge cake and couldn't have done it without this stand. It's 12" diameter circular top perfectly balanced my huge 14" square cake drum with a huge cake atop. Just takes a tiny touch to move the top so it turns as you view your cake or decorate. The top separates from the base, and the base is solid but not too heavy to move. It will keep spinning if you spin it, as there is no mech to stop that. Elevates your project to a nice height. Professional grade. Comes with a non slip pad that covers the entire top. I love it!

Es un poco pesado, pero es una herramienta imprescindible para la decoración de tartas, gira de maravilla y su montaje es muy muy fácil por decir nulo. Lo único por poner alguna pega es que la caja vino un poco dañada y rota, pero por lo demás funciona de maravilla.
