Great product for the money. The lights work great and get very bright. I love that you can control the brightness as well as the different colors. The outlet cord is also very long which is helpful. Highly recommend.

These rope lights look great! After reading the previous reviews where people wrote that they had a difficult time straightening them out, my husband and I laid them out in the sun then gently stretched them straight while they were warm. They still had a bit of a curve but my husband used coaxial staples to keep them in place. The glow that comes off these lights is wonderful. Love the color choices. Would definitely buy them again and recommend.

I got this color changing rope light for my front porch to light it up at night. As you can see in my pictures it lights up nice and bright. However, it’s a little too bright. So here are the pros and cons. Pro: it has many color options, with five different levels of brightness and it remembers what color you last picked every time it comes back on. Con: it does not remember what level of brightness you picked so it defaults back to the brightest setting every time it comes back on. Pro: lights are inside a plastic tube, so it protects the wiring. Con: it arrives in a coiled circle and getting the plastic tubing to relax is not easy. I would recommend setting it the sun for a while to heat up the plastic. I put mine up (in 50*) and let it just relax over time. It did take a long time but as you can see it did finally relax after our temperatures warmed up. “White” setting Cons: there is no soft/warm white and the white setting on the set is more like bluish-purple. I tried to get my pictures as close as I could but it doesn’t do it justice on how blue they are. They are definitely not white! The yellow setting is yellow and not warm white. All in all it’s a nice set but the lack of warm white or even a cool white along with it not remembering it’s brightness level might have been a deal breaker for me.

The colors are beautiful, especially the dark lavender/light purple. People stopped and commented on the color. Each box is 66.2/3 feet like my old strands Im replacing, but it comes in two connectable rolls, which is easier to handle but is actually a little longer because of the extra wire in the connectors where there are no lights. These lights have several motions, activate by a remote, you can try til you find the one you like and lots of different steady, fade, twinkle, etc, light colors. If these hold up like the old ones did for six years I will be very happy. The old ones still work but the plastic tubes became hardened in the relentles Texas sun and broken in the hail, leaving bare wires. I was skeptical at first about the new lights but I recommend these lights if they all last like my old ones, so far.

What's there not to like about these Color Changing Rope Lights? Not much. The set up was easy. You just need an available AC outlet. I put these up and around my Apt. Walls/Ceiling area. I used masking tape so as to not damage my walls. The color of the tape also 'masks' my white walls pretty well too. Once put up and plugged in I have two ways of controlling the light colors and displays. You have basic functionality with the 2-button controller that's connected on the light rope between the AC Adapter and the beginning of the lights on the rope -OR- for much more functionality you can use the included Multifunctional Remote. What's nice is it's very small, thin and super simple to use. There are a whopping16 colors to choose from and varying display options as well. It really does light up my room so well. I set the color to my mood on any given day. I just love it. And my guests are always blown away with the eye-popping light show as well. These colored rope lights are so much cooler and safer to use than lighting candles to set any mood. My only negative is that since the lights rope came all spiraled up in it's box (as it should and as shown on the product page), it was very difficult for me to get a nice, clean straight line of rope along the wall/ceiling area. Instead it looks as you can see in the photos provided. More wavy throughout. It's still not too bad looking all things considered and not that noticeable but just know what to expect when you plan to set it up. These were really meant more for outdoors and are more fitting for spiraling around a tree or railings.

Junk. Bought a 33ft rope in September. By Christmas 1/3 of the lights quit working. A few days later all but a five foot section stopped working. Waste of money and time installing them.

Fine product. Narrower than i thought, not enough brightness.

Purchased them for extra evening lighting on our enclosed porch at the cabin. Setup was very simple with the added hooks, but we definitely could have used a few more. Was a 2 person job, but could have been a one person job easily. Installation and setup was a breeze, simple on/off switches once installed and instructions were very clear. The remote is a nice added bonus. We have the solar panel cord fished outside to catch light. It works so great I purchased a second string for extra added brightness as it’s a very large porch.

I used this to put around the pool (between path and lawn) and it looks amazing!! Very easy to install and good quality. I have to admit, there are too many buttons and I have no idea how to use them all, but that's ok because all the setting look nice at night. I have noticed, however, that you have to point the remote directly at the box and you can't be too far to use it but that's ok with me. I set it and leave it. Worth the purchase.

Works well, but stiff and fragile plastic casing. Image is a bit misleading. Definitely for outdoor use only, but I can make it work for the price point.

Arrived on time as described. It provides a low light so don’t order if you are looking for something bright to light an area. Used on gazebo and lighting is beautiful. Liked them so much I ordered another set.
