I found I had to make a thin paste with it and leave it in my hair for 10 minutes the first few times. But now I can get away with a 2 minute leave in my hair whilst in the shower. Think it took a while for my hair to adjust to not using baking soda (that I used firstly to wean myself off shampoo).It’s a bit messy, but I much prefer it to shampoo. And much less harsh than baking soda.I also got a little bit in my eye once when I was washing it out and it hurt to buggery and my eye was red and sore for a day, so really make sure you shut those peepers tight when using it.I also like that I can wash my body with it too. No soap used at all.

I tried a shampoo recipe and one of the ingredients was reetha. Helps with the foam and cleans the scalp. I tried to make the recipe 2 times already and no foam at all, so makes more difficult to wash my hair unfortunately. Is it something wrong with the powder?
