Not fit for purpose
With a number of different barrel cables (e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08DXRBSSM/) the connection was intermittent, would only be (just) stable with the plug half-inserted, having tried a number in turn. Cutting these cables and hard-wiring worked fine.

Tested at 8 amps, didn’t get even warm. Fitting is perfect. No complaints

I used these as inputs and outputs for a small DC power distribution box that I put together to power a Christmas display. They were easy to mount to the junction box and perform exactly as they should, holding the plugs securely.

The big pro is the wires being "POTTED" encased at the connection to socket. This is a huge plus, particularly if you are using the socket where it will regularly be shifted (such as being mounted to a hinged door.) Or, even along a 3D Printers or a Robots joint axis point is. Had a real bad short occur, just because the lack of that connection being solid, these being encased pretty much resolves that concern completely.

My charger port shorted out and almost caught fire while charging my electric skateboard. Luckily I was able to catch it before it burnt my house down. These soldered to an mx30 worked great as a replacement! I’m using a 4 amp charger with it and it seems to work just fine.
