What a time saver. The tape is very sticky and had zero issues with paint sipping under. Another thing I liked is that it doesn't tear easily.

Bought to minimize masking steps when painting my truck. I was afraid the strip with exposed adhesive was too narrow and it wouldn't hold well. I found that it sticks well to paint and bare metal with no residue left behind. Removal was straight forward and simple, even after being left on for several days. I can't say how well it sticks to plastic trim because I didn't run in to that situation. The tape never separated from the plastic and it isn't fragile. If for some reason you have trouble separating the sheet from itself to unfold it, try breathing hot air on to your finger tips like you're trying to fog up a mirror, then rub your fingers together with the plastic pinched in between. The same technique works for those stupid produce bags at the grocery store and you don't have to lick your fingers in public like a weirdo. I like that the sheet has a little static cling to it so it doesn't fall while I tape the other side down, but not so much that it gets stuck to itself and become a big wadded up mess. Not sure if that will help if you're applying outside and it's windy... I used this in my garage with the door open and a fan running and didn't have issues. If you're going to apply this with an extra set of hands then it's super easy. I did it on my own and while I didn't find it too difficult, if you're... hand-eye coordination impaired... you might drop stuff repeatedly. Not really a comment on this particular product, but more the application process of this type of masking aid in general. Lastly, cost seems pretty good. For the quality of the product, as described above, as well as the amount you get (I used one entire roll out of three to protect half of my full-sized pickup) I don't feel it's overpriced. Would buy again, though hopefully I won't ever have to!

Works very well for masking off large areas such as windshield on vehicle prior to painting, would recommend to anyone I know.

This 3M plastic with tape is very genius idea for painters. We really liked the ease of this and cutting it to apply it to the door frame and trim. It made our life easier and actually went out into the tile and across the doors you can see in the pictures to cover it so the paint did not get on it, I only gave it four stars because the adhesive is very strong so keep in mind. It does takeoff paint and stain on your trim.

i was a little skeptical at first for the price range but boy was i wrong. the plastic is good quality and the tape has great adhesion, used to for a couple small paint repairs and it worked great for my project

Another auto body painting product that makes a mess if left on for more than a couple of days in the heat. Turns sticky and the plastic sheeting pulls away and sticks itself to part of the body you are trying to protect. Very difficult and time consuming to get the sticky gunk off the surface. Suppliers should make a note of this in the product description!
