Worth it! Very bright

First one received was a disaster!
The first one I received the controller became too hot to touch after about 15 seconds after connecting to the battery, and took at least 30 minutes to cool back down - VERY DANGEROUS!! Therefore, my initial rating was ZERO stars. I found it odd that I could request a new one, but there was not an option to state why I wanted to exchange the defective unit for a new one. I was very pleased that the replacement arrived the next day. When I tried it out, the new controller stays cool and works well. 5 stars for the customer service. Can't rate the entire transaction 5 stars due to the initial defect. Now, the tough part will be to see if it works for the creation that I have in mind.

Flickered first few uses then stopped. Got a replacement and same thing

Good flame lighting for very small displays
Easy to use and good flame effect, but only bright enough for small displays - but it works great on those.

Not very bright, and 2 of the lights stopped working
It’s just not that great. Maybe I got a bad one. Even before it broke, it wasn’t very bright.

Made Our Ghost Rider Costume Come Alive!
Fantastic product! I was a little unsure of how these would work with the lack of product reviews, but it was a more cost-effective option than some similar items. I purchased this set of lights to add to the flame effect for my son's Ghost Rider Costume. I'll let the pic speak for itself, but these far exceeded my hopes for this product! The flickering action was perfect, 100% spot on. A great option for cosplayers!

Great I’ve used it in my beautiful cast iron fireplace in my bedroom. I’ve put ceramic logs in there and it makes it look like a flickering fire fabulous x
