First knife set that could take my overdone chicken, handles are comfy and can handle those slimy little chicken hands, all the knives I need for all my cooking, can cut through anything and sharpen easily, they look nice with the wooden handles,

These were a gift to my mom for her birthday. She loves them. My family also loves them but they’re sharp! So be careful when washing them or using them. So far they’re still sharp as I brought them! Also idk it the same brand as Gordon Ramsay uses or not but I was told he does so this really inspired me to get this set. It’s worth the money!! Easy to cut,peel and chop veggies too!!

I bought a 15-piece block set, the small pairing knife had a blemish on the top of the blade not the edge side. I wanted to file the blemish away so I practiced on my old set. I was very hard to file. I was happy with the appearance of my file work, so I started filing on the blemished one, Henckels stainless was very soft. As a 50-year machinist I know they use a very mild grade stainless steel. I also had to sharpen all the knives. I tested the first big butcher knife on cutting an onion, it wouldn’t cut the side of it the skin, it just slid off. After sharping it: it cut right. So, I would say it’s premium quality and they don’t start out very sharp. Now it’s a quality set of knifes after fixing the problems. I don’t really know about the Stainless Steel used, when we made knifes at the machine shop we would send the stainless out to stress relive and harden, it was hard to file, like my old set of knifes.Update...This a nice knife set. But with that said: it is absolutely not made of stainless steel. A magnet slams into it very hard, as a machinist for 50 years I have checked stainless at least a thousand times and stainless is none magnetic. The only part where the magnet would not stick is the butt end of the kinfe, it appears to me they welded the thick end to the blade and made it look like a one-piece blade and handle.

Finally upgraded from the Big Lot's Knives and this was the PERFECT set! Super sharp, and they hold up VERY WELL! Amateur cookers, BUY THESE KNIVES! LOVE THESE!
