Bugs in My Hair! Hardcover – Picture Book, August 27, 2013

My grandson loves reading this book. He gets a big kick out of it. I will admit you will find yourself, scratching and laughing as you’re reading.

My son loves this book and nearly all books from this author.

I bought this book because in pre-school my daughter brought home head lice a lot of times. I would have the mother louse lay her eggs on MY HEAD.! It was awful! The washings, the putting blankets, coats and hats into black plastic bags and the feelings of shame.This book has it all! It brings all those memories back to me. When my daughter has her first child, I will give the book to her. Imagine this as the first book given to a grandchild!It is funny and makes you itch.

My 3 year old loves this book! She wants to read it over and over again. Now when I itch my head she asks if I have head lice. This book is fantastic, especially if you have ever had to deal with head lice. I really like this book and was surprised by how much my daughter loves it!

We run a Lice Clinic of America and have this book on hand for the kids to read while getting deloused and they LOVE it. It is a cute book and makes the whole process better. This is my favorite Lice themed book and just love anything by David Shannon

This book was recommended to us as we have a business that helps parents and families in need! [...]. We have a parent read this book as we are treating the child for head lice! It's entertaining and factual except when we go out to treat head lice it doesn't come back ;)

I have been itching to write a review of this book. First the illustrations are humorous and colorful. When plagued by lice besides getting treatment this book will be a good tool to deal with a situation that is total void of humor. I need to get to know other works by David Shannon, this work has great promise.
