I don't think it resembles the good old Gee, but my mom likes it. I won't use it as I dislike the smell.

This shampoo doesn’t smell like the original Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific shampoo from the 1970s. I saw this advertised and I paid a premium - over $30. I was so excited to receive and to smell it. It’s not even remotely close. Sorry to have wasted my money.

This smelled the way I remembered ....it can dry your hair a bit but you can not beat the scent :)

Do not spend the money on this product. It does not smell the same. Not even close. The shampoo does NOT, I repeat, does NOT linger and you have to use a ton to cover long hair. The sent is totally different and it disappears entirely when you rinse it out. 300 percent mark up from original price and utterly disappointing

It smelled good but has an overpowering scent, and when poured into my palm to apply to my hair it felt like sludge and did not feel like it was cleaning my hair at all. No lather but even without the lather the product just didn’t apply well in my hair.

It deep cleans well, gives your hair a shiny gloss and smells terrific

Don't waste your money ladies. They didn't even get it in the ballpark. I would not mind the price if the scent was at least close, but this doesn't even get in the same solar system. Frankly, it smells like scented dish soap. VERY disappointed.
