smooth feel; comfortable to use
I also tried the steelseries qck heavy, which i returned after a day, and the ktrio xl desk mat, which I have had for about a year, for comparison. what i really liked about this pad compared to the two aforementioned pads is that I can rest my forearm on the pad while using it and not feel any scraping on my hand or forearm. the steelseries qck heavy has a rougher surface and i felt like that had a negative impact on comfort and performance, while with the ktrio mousepad that i've had for a while, the stitching would rub against my forearm which was uncomfortable. I don't have any of those problems with the legion mousepad. The pad is smooth so my hand and forearm slide across it with no noticeable impact on my mouse movements, and the pad is large enough to hang about 1/4 in of mousepad off the edge so that my forearm doesnt rub against the stitching. while I have no experience with higher end mousepads, for the $17 I paid, the XXL desk mat is larger than i'd ever need it to be and very comfortable to use. I can't speak to its durability because I haven't had it for very long but it has a very similar feel to the KTRIO mousepad, just better quality overall and slightly larger so it's probably fine.

Durable, Comfortable Mouse Pad for Gaming
This gaming mouse pad offers a smooth surface that enhances precision during gameplay. The anti-fray edges have held up well over time, and the non-slip base keeps it firmly in place, even during intense gaming sessions. It also has a water-repellent feature, which is a nice touch for preventing accidental spills from affecting the surface. The size is large enough to provide ample room for movement without feeling cramped. The black design is sleek and blends well with most setups. While it's a great option overall, it may feel a bit thicker than other mouse pads, but this is a minor consideration given its durability and functionality.

Very good glide pad, shiny finer texture pad
Its a low friction pad good for dampening your keyboard as well, only flaw is the 900x300mm is not enough height wize at slightly under a foot so low sensitivity gamers will need more. If this were 900x400 it would be perfect. The 900x400xxl is better for more keyboard and mouse space esp if you tilt your keyboard a bit. The texture was bit too rough for me though, its a matter of taste because I was fine with that texture for years before I switched to a more glide type. These are on the thinner side at 2mm, not the 3-4mm of higher end ones, but its ok for the price. I've gone through plenty as its best to have spares so one can be cleaned with another always ready, these double as minor spill containment after all!
