Simply the best.
Simpson Strong-Tie makes the best connectors, period. Maybe not the cheapest, but when you're spending a boat-load to build something, do you really want to save a couple of bucks for something you want to last a long time?

These are not Stainless Steel
These are not Stainless Steel, they are black epoxy coated , painted to look galvanized. The ones in the picture are shiny like stainless. These are dull and pasty due to the paint. They are also very magnetic. The box has Exterior Grade written on it, but not stainless. It is disappointing.

get what you pay for
pretty pricey but if you need to know the job is done right then these are solid. I would recommend checking out Simpson Strong Ties website and catalog, very helpful.

Buyer Beware Product is not as advertised
This product was shown as Stainless Steel in the description and the photo listed shows Stainless Steel Screws. The product sent was not Stainless steel, it is galvanized steel. I do not have time to find more due to the project starts in two days. What is really bad is the product came from an Amazon Direct Warehouse, not the vendor. Very unhappy with the sale and no accountability from Amazon. Would give 0 stars but forced to do one to submit a review.

These screws are easy to drive and work perfectly

They looked like self tapping in the picture, but they are not really.
They looked like self tapping in the picture, but they are not really. The flute cut into the tip was not as pictured and useless. I bought them to fix my La-z-boy recliner. It was so old, the glue dried and one of the sides just broke the dowels and dropped. I had limited tools which did not include a drill. If there were not holes from the dowels, these would not have worked. Fortunately they did. They held the chair together until the glue dried.

NOT stainless steel as claimed in the detailed description
I bought these specifically because it stated they were stainless steel. Turns out they are galvanized steel which I can't use for my application. Not OK
