Sapphire, the first French brand established in 1920, the world leader in quality and diversity of its leather care and renovation products, has won the challenge of traditional manufacturing. The result of constant research and successful marriage of high-quality natural raw materials, sapphire products offer you the widest range in the world for preserving and embellishing all leathers. It is so that the largest boots, leather workers and shoelmakers in more than fifty countries and on the five continents use sapphire for preservation and "beauty, leather health". Review: Look no further! - Put simply, this seems to be the best balance of affordability and quality in terms of shoe polish. There are certainly cheaper options out there (such as Kelly's Shoe Cream) and there is one that is more expensive and higher quality (Saphir's Medaille D'Or line, comprised of their higher end items), but this stuff REALLY does the trick. Though it isn't up to par with the Medaille D'Or line, this Beaute Du Cuir line still uses natural ingredients that are especially good for leather while also enhancing its color tremendously. Heck, it even smells good! No chemical smell whatsoever with this stuff...it almost smells like cherry-flavored candy. In using it, there is going to be some excess on the surface that will rub off when you re-condition the leather or apply any wax polish on top of it. This doesn't seem to be exclusive just to this product, though, and even when some gets rubbed off, the enhancement of the color of the leather is still very much there. Though I didn't take before-and-after pics, I touched up my 3 pairs of leather shoes today, and I thought that would be the perfect time to take some pictures for this review. The color enhancement is tough to see on the dark brown ones (Allen Edmonds 5th Avenues), but it's VERY apparent on the other two pairs (Clarks Bike Toe Derbies in Tan and Allen Edmonds Byrons in Chili Brown). By the way, that third pair is just over 20 years old! Yes, the quality of the materials and the care of the previous owner (I bought them used since new shoes from Allen Edmonds are really expensive) should be credited for them still being in this good of shape after all this time, but this polish just elevates them to a whole new level, and people are shocked at how great they look, especially for their age. Just as a last note, I used Bick 4 Conditioner (from Bickmore) as well as Saphir's Beaute Du Cuir Wax Polish (clear) in conjunction with this cream polish. That wax polish is where most of the shine comes from. If you don't care about shine but want to preserve your shoes and make them look great with just one product, this stuff will do it! I've used it in several different colors, including the Dark Brown I bought here on desertcart, and it's never failed me. To be honest, I really don't see any need to go up to Saphir's higher end line (which, ounce for ounce, is double the price of this stuff) unless you're REALLY wanting the best of the best and nothing below that point. If that's not you, though, the Beaute Du Cuir line is where you should run to, as it's excellent quality while still being moderately-priced. Very pleased with this line of products! Review: Saphir products are great. - This polish works great. My shoes had not been polished for almost a year. When I applied it, the leather just soaked it in and gave me a great shine.

Saphir products are great.
This polish works great. My shoes had not been polished for almost a year. When I applied it, the leather just soaked it in and gave me a great shine.

Great find in violet color
It took awhile for delivery but this violet color is very hard to find. Thigh it seemed to be a little lighter shade than our leather Crate and Barrel dining chairs, I thought it was the best match available and Incoidl add a touch of black to darken it if necessary. It is a nice cream and I was able to match the color well enough to not need a black layer. It soaked in well and polished after drying. It did not fill in the tiny hairline cracks in the leather surface but I think this will moisten and protect the leather. Other brands sell purple or eggplant which is more like a burgundy and woild not match our leather color.

Good overall polish
The quality of the polish is great. The color and consistency are good. The packaging is a nice jar. The price for the amount is a bit much. Easy to use and apply just like other polishes.

Fantastic
This is great shoe cream. I mixed this with another color to get the right shade. It is very bight orange. It is very creamy and give the leather a nice sheen once dried and polished.

Fantastic product!
I own a vintage leather coat from the 70’s. It had faded and in different areas overtime. I’ve tried just conditioning it with other leather conditioners but it quickly returned to the faded dry look. I chose this dark gray color and it was so perfect! I also appreciated how it left it with enough sheen I could lightly buff it and it blended in with the areas that weren’t affected. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Results and worth the money.
It has made the leather on a seven year old pair of shoes look nearly new. The cream does a wonderful job of restoring the color and supple feel of the leather. Scratches have been either removed or reduced and it will buff to a pleasant satin sheen. I feel that it is perfect for those who want to revitalize a dull pair of shoes without imparting a mirror like shine. I’ve found that it also works great as an edge dressing on welts or stacked leather heels. Do keep in mind that a little goes a long way. Do not over apply the cream and ensure that you buff and remove as much excess as possible after it has been allowed to sit for a few minutes. Otherwise, it will transfer and stain pant legs. Ask me how I know. Something else to keep in mind is that certain smooth finished, “waterproof” leathers may struggle to absorb the cream, resulting in a smeared appearance as it sits on the surface of the shoe. With those points in mind, this is about the best product you can put on leather shoes due to the natural, high quality materials used that work to nourish and revitalize the leather rather and provide a superficial finish on top of it.

Great shoe creme
First time buying Saphir. The hype is real. The crème has a lot of pigment and is great to restoring color to worn or faded boots.
