I bought it on sale.
Considering the price, I wasn't expecting anything fancy, just a basic sushi roller kit. I was pleased with the onigiri molds, and the chopsticks were better than I expected. Overall I was happy with purchase. One note, the sushi knife, while very sharp, is flimsy. I don't expect it to last for very long, but the price was right, and I don't mind if I have to buy a better knife later on.

Great value for the cost
My goal for the end of the year was to make sushi. I decided to finally find a kit just to get started. And this was the one! I used the mats without the little contraption (I’ll use it when I feel like it one day). I’m glad I simply got started and I’ll keep learning as I go. You can, too. Buy it and keep going. We’ll learn all the rest of the stuff over time. This is a great Step 1.

Cute and a great gift!
This is a super cute set and very useful! I bought this for my daughter and she loved using this to make her sushi as a first timer. It helped her learn how to roll with the bamboo mat and now (5 years later) she is a pro ;). The knife rusted a little bit so we threw that out recently but other than that she uses all the pieces still :). great buy as a gift for someone wanting to learn how to roll sushi!

Nice for the price
I am definitely a beginner and will enjoy learning with these new accessories. Don't be misled by the initial description of the product where it says "machine roller". Not sure what that is meant to be but there is nothing mechanical in here. It also said bazooka came with instruction manual but it did not. But from what I've read on other reviews it's easy to find YouTube videos on how to use the bazooka. There were no missing pieces. The bamboo dipping bowls are quite shallow, as someone else described more a plate than a bowl. Haven't actually tried making sushi rolls yet so I can't comment on the knife but it looks adequate. Happened to be on sale when I purchased it. Under $16. So even if I never use the chopsticks, bamboo dipping plates, and chopstick holders I feel I got my money's worth.

Finally I can make my own sushi rolls, And other japanes yummies!!
Fantastic set! Although the rice roll press broke getting the clasp locks to release! If your new to sushi rolls, making them will take practice. It took me a few nori sheets to get it right.Keep the rice thin letting it fill the sides comepletely leaving room at the top and bottom is the key. Roll it gently but tightly then cut and enjoyGood luck all... :)

Great!
I got this as a gift for my mom because she has been telling me that she wants to learn to make sushi at home. She absolutely loved it. She said it makes it so easy for her to make sushi and she does it all the time now!

So fun!
Am I embarrassed to say I purchased this for the family after I saw it in an Instagram influencers story? Hmm…Well it is just as fun to use as it seemed it would be! There’s quite a bit of trial and error before one can get the hang of it, but eating the messy bits is part of the joy of learning to make sushi with a plastic tube, yeah?If you’re considering it, do it. We’ve used it about once a week since we got it and it always makes for an entertaining (if not especially filling) dinner night. Our favorite local sushi place can rest easy-we make this for amusement and still frequent there for genuine sushi nourishment.

Missing pieces
My wife purchased this for me as a Christmas present. Several parts were missing. The molds (all of them), avocado cutter, and dipping plates were all missing. Other than that, the product is well made and quite elegant. 3 stars due to missing parts.
